Chiang Mai, Thailand, is a hot spot for Thai Massage and many other holistic ventures. If you spend some time in this city, you will probably run into quite a few yoga teachers, Thai Massage practitioners and teachers, and lots of other people with fascinating holistic backgrounds.
Chiang Mai is also the place where Thai Healing Massage Academy was originally started in 2001. As the founder of Thai Healing Massage Academy, I know many other Thai Massage teachers, and have met quite a few of them in this city.
Besides being a holistic hot spot, Chiang Mai also lends itself to many activities like sightseeing, hiking, and visiting the stunning mountain scenery in northern Thailand.
One activity which is very popular is exploring the mountains on motorbikes. My friend Deon De Wet, besides being a Thai Massage teacher, is also a motorcycle enthusiast.
Deon and I met in Chiang Mai some time ago and, besides recording a Thai Massage interview, we had some fun together, cruising on our motorbikes.
But that was not all – we managed to add a special twist to it by doing some impromptu yoga poses, and even partner yoga next to, and even on our bikes.
This is a behind-the-scenes look at a meeting of two Thai Massage teachers in Thailand.
