Need more information? Keep reading for all the details.

Do you ever have clients with hip problems?

With over half a million total hip replacement surgeries per year in the US alone - chances are that you do! And it's not just the US - the hip statistics in Europe are even worse.

The question is: Are you sure that you have the very best skills and tools for helping your client's hip problems?

If not, read on for a convenient and cost-effective solution which will give you the confidence and the skills for doing effective hip therapy on your clients.

But first, let's look at the problem a bit more in detail:

What's happening with our hips?

There is a hip crisis happening in most developed countries.
Why is that?
Easy - people sit too much and move too little.

What does that do to us? Here is just a partial list:

  • The hip flexors tighten, preventing normal movement and range of motion
  • Posture collapses, throwing the entire spine out of alignment
  • Risk of injury increases, with weakened and shortened muscles unable to cope
  • TIght hips can cause problems in the lower back and hamstrings
  • Sedentary lifestyle increases the risk of osteoarthritis which in turn can lead to hip replacement

To help such clients, doing a general massage is not enough. It takes specialized knowledge to be effective.

Why is Thai Massage so uniquely effective for hip therapy?

Because it deals with the issue that caused the problem in the first place - lack of movement.

Thai Massage does not just use pressure, but a wide range of manipulations and stretches which address the root of the problem.

Thai Massage restores range of motion and flexibility in all the affected areas. This cannot be achieved by pressure or stroking techniques alone.

Here is another reason: Thai Massage is designed as a therapeutic system. It has been used for hundreds of years to address such conditions. It is ideally suited for therapy work.

But here is the problem - Thai Massage is generally taught as just a fixed sequence of techniques.

That leaves out most of its creative and therapeutic potential, the true healing art. To be truly effective, therapists need more than a fixed sequence of moves.

What if you could learn this:

  • A wide range of techniques to deal with specific problems
  • The ability to recognize problems and modify the treatment to fit the client's needs
  • The skill to work without sequence on one area until results are achieved

What is Thai Massage Hip Therapy?

It's a highly specific training course which covers:

  • Causes of hip problems
  • Recognizing and treating hip problems
  • Reversing or preventing hip deterioration
  • Demonstration of an entire hip therapy session

Good for clients and you: Thai hip therapy is easy on your hands

This hip therapy course is fantastic! The gallop rhythm was very relaxing for the client. These techniques really get the muscles relaxed and it was much easier to do the work than what I had been doing previously!

Let's face it, doing therapy work on the large muscles around the hip, like the glutes or the hamstrings, and on a large client on top of that, can be seriously stressful for your hands.

Fortunately the Thai Massage system does not just rely on your hands,  but you learn how to use your hands, forearms, elbows, and knees to work more effectively with less effort and without strain.

This is essential for working on large clients without risking your own health in the process.

With Thai hip therapy you can get results which you have not seen before

The big advantage of the Thai Massage system is its use of many stretches and manipulations which resemble applied yoga and have similar benefits.

Thai Massage hip therapy can restore the diminished range of motion and flexibility in the hip joint and realign the hip to its natural function.

You and your clients will be very pleased with the results you can get! And your therapeutic skill level will reach a new level.

I am loving the hip stretches. They are really helping my husband. This is exactly what I have been wanting to learn, how to stretch the body without hurting somebody,  moving the body to get better range of motion.

Can you really learn this online?

You explain the techniques so that they are understood so easily. It’s a great pleasure to watch these videos now.
Compared to reading books or being in a class, I can honestly say I've learned more from your style of teaching.
It's more like having someone in the sitting room with you in person!
It’s a journey that I am really enjoying. I'm so pleased!

I took a local training in the US a year ago, and didn't feel comfortable practicing it on my clients, with nothing to refer back to for resources.
In the back of my mind was "what if I am not doing this correctly"?
Your program is exactly what I need .
I don't have the time to travel and take classes as often as I would like, so this is the perfect solution.
And, it’s an amazing course with a great teacher.

I have to admit that I would never have believed I could receive such a good training online.
I have always been one of those folks who prefer to go to trainings or immersions. Yet here I am, learning, practicing and engaging.
I LOVE the pacing of the course, and the fact that I can go back and look at something again and again, often in a slightly different way. So please keep doing what you are doing!

How can I use Thai Massage Hip Therapy?

Is it only for Thai Massage?

The techniques are mainly meant for Thai Massage practitioners who want to add to their skills. However many of the techniques work just as well as part of table massage styles.

Does it have to be done on a floor mat?

Thai Massage is traditionally done on a floor mat, and that's how this course is presented.
But many of our students are successfully using many of the techniques on a table as well.

The hip pie is genius! I'll never forget to do a variety of hip stretches with the hip pie.
I also really have to say that throwing in the stretch specific for smaller therapists with taller clients is awesome! I'm 5'3" with a practice partner at 6 foot, so that really helped!

I am very pleased with your hip therapy course. I appreciate that you use many techniques to evaluate the hip area in the beginning.
I  like very much that you don’t just have one specific sequence for every patient or therapist.
I like to be able to vary the techniques between stretches and loosening techniques. This is good material with very good training methods.
