This forum is meant for our students and subscribers to promote their events, workshops, classes, courses, products or establishments. All listings are free. The listing has to be a healing arts related topic, i.e. massage, yoga, healing, self improvement, energy work etc.
Here are some rules that you need to follow to post in this forum:
Posts or event listings which do not comply with these rules will be edited or deleted.
Post title (headline): Your title MUST contain three elements: What, Where, and When:
- What is it that you are promoting
- Where is it happening (in the case of a physical event)
- When is it happening (in the case of one time events).
This makes it easy for readers to scan the posts and open what they are interested in.
An example would be “Massage class in Bali on April 4 – April 10, 2016”. Make sure to include the complete date including the year.
Post body: Write a short description of the event. If you have a lengthy description, put a link in your post which redirects the reader to the full description. If your listing contains more than 200 words, it will be deleted.
The post also has to contain the What, Where, and When. Make it easy and clear for the reader to understand what you are offering.
You can make your posts more appealing and easier to read by using bold, italic or underlined text, or by using different colors.
Links: You can put a maximum of two links in your post. They have to go to your site. They cannot be affiliate links. In other words, you cannot promote other people’s products where you get a commission for the sale. It has to be your product or event, and your website.
This is how to establish that the event is yours: You need to have a complete forum profile. This means your complete first and last name, your website and email, and a description of who you are and what you do. Also your forum display name has to be your real first and last name.
If I cannot establish from your forum profile that you are the owner of the event, i.e. if there is no obvious connection between your profile and your event listing, I will delete your event.
If you want to post an event or a link which is not yours, you need to contact me at email@example.com to clear it with me first. If anything looks like spam, and if I don’t know the author, I will delete it.
Who can post: In order to post in this forum, you must be a student or subscriber of Thai Healing Massage Academy. This will be verified through your email address. If this is not in our subscriber data base, I will delete the event.
Tags: Below the post box there is a little box where you can add tags. Tags are keywords that tell the search engines what you consider important in your post so that people who are looking for it can find it easier. So for example if your post is about yoga, you can add tags like ‘yoga’, ‘yoga training’, ‘yoga course’.
Profile picture: I suggest you upload your picture in the profile section. People will trust you more if they can see who is behind the ad rather than seeing a generic icon. The easiest way to have your picture show up is by creating a gravatar. You can do that for free here:
