Hi! So I am graduating from massage school in December and have always enjoyed Thai massage. I am very interested in learning this method but am recovering from a torn meniscus. I have trouble squatting. I started with the foot massage course to see if I can use accommodations until my knee is healed.
There are accommodations - especially in the second part of this course where you sit on a stool and the client sits on a chair.
I guess you will have to take it easy with quite a few Thai Massage techniques until your knee is healed. Or you can adapt them to the table, at least for the time being. Quite a few of our course students use the material on a massage table.
You can also mix in some Thai Massage techniques with Swedish-style massage. This is fairly common here in Thailand.

Hi So if I want to take the entire course will you be able to explain how to do massage on the table. Also I am currently taking Thai foot massage course and am not sure where to go for certification posting. I dont see any links by anybody who is taking the course for certification. Should I just start a new post related to foot massage? Also I am a registered Yoga teacher through yoga alliance. Although my massage therapy schooling will be completed in December. Can I practice Thai Yoga Massage under my Yoga Certification until I get my License in hand? Am I currently posting in the correct area for certification for foot massage?
Hi Leslie, here are the answers to your questions:
1. If you take the Complete Thai Massage course, you will see me demonstrate the techniques on a floor mat. I do not show how to work on a table. However many of our students are adapting the techniques to the table without much difficulty.
2. There are dozens of forum threads by students who have gone through the foot massage certification process. You could find them via the search function in the top left of the forum. However to make it easy for you, here is the direct link to all foot massage certification threads:

3. Regarding your question if you can practice Thai Massage under your yoga certification, please read this article for the answer:

4. No, you are not in the correct area for the certification forum posts. Please watch the tutorial which I sent you in my last email for a step by step walk-through:
