Module 26

Not quite sure what to say about this module.  I like having options for different situations that arise.  Out of this module, I would probably say that the shoulder work will get the most use.  I could see it being a great way of loosing up the muscles in that area.

Module 27

You've managed to put 3 of my favorite techniques into something that is easier to do on the floor.  The shoulder blade work where you reach under and pull up is much easier to do when you have a body part to act as a block.  Currently on the table, I have a foam block that fits neatly under the shoulder giving the needed elevation.  What a great improvement.  The others being the petrasage on the traps (being more centered instead of working from the side), and the entire shoulder mobilization.

Module 28

Thanks for putting this all together!  Love your work!!

Module 29

Sitting on the leg is definitely a new technique for me!  My partner said she liked the extended compression time when I was doing it.  The hip work in this module is very much similar to what I do on the table.  The difference is that draping in Swedish makes things more complicated.  Love the adductor stretch on the floor due to balancing is easier!  My partners hips and legs haven't felt this good in a while (or so she says!)

Module 30

Whew! That was a lot of options for one video…

I can see the leaning on the erectors towards the spine, spinal twist and stretching the body around the knee will be the most used techniques from this video.

For some reason, the shoulder work in the prone position seemed to be easier for the therapist (me) to do.  My partner has been saying lately that she needs more flexibility in bending backwards.

This might just be the thing to do it.

Thai Massage has a huge amount of options. This makes is super versatile and flexible, and also more challenging to learn. If you learn it well, you will never have to worry much about competition. Smile

Module 31

WoW, what a great sequence for the shoulder!  My partner has had thoracic outlet syndrome type symptoms for a while.  After performing these on her, she said that she made it through the night without her arms falling asleep.  Many thanks!

I love feedback like that - makes it feel so worth it putting all those courses out.

Module 32

Now we're taking shoulder work to a new level!  As I stated earlier, the shoulder never seems to get enough work.  I'll definitely be incorporating these techniques!  Especially the separating the scapula from the ribs.

Module 33

What a wonderful way to stretch the back.  The first few times that I did this on my partner, she was fairly tight.  As the week has progressed, so has the mobility in her back.  I’m really digging the spinal twist in this position.  It, according to my partner, is wonderful!

Cool

Module 34

Balance is correct!  You make it look so easy!  We've just found a new way to do compression on my partners back.  She doesn't mind the intimacy (after all, she is my wife)!  We’ll have to do more practice on the position to work on the neck with the head resting on the therapist’s leg.  It’s a height thing and getting the leg into the correct position.  Something these old legs aren't used to…

Thai Massage will keep "these old legs" in better shape. Smile

One question - you had originally signed up for the International Certificate. However I saw that you just purchased access to the test questions for the CE certificate. I guess that means that you want the CE certificate now. Or do you want both the CE and the International certificate?

I originally signed up for the certificate only.  Upon thinking about it, I might as well get the CE's for only 10 dollars.  Now to re-watch the videos and answer the questions.   Thanks for putting this course together!

Is it possible to do both?  It's going to take a while for the CE portion...

Sure, you can do both, no problem. Like you said, you just need to answer the test questions for the CEUs, and the answers are all clearly spelled out in the videos.

Module 35

You did a great job in explaining the difference between Thai and Swedish massage.  I'll have to remember most of that!  As you stated in the video, communication is critical, not only for safety but for getting clients to return.  I always make sure that when doing a session, I ask them if all is okay (much in the same way as the video).  There is no coming back from a blown first impression :\

I want to thank you for putting this course together in one spot.  It has already made a difference in my practice.  Especially for those who are interested in going in new directions with their treatments.

I am happy to hear that the course has worked well for you. You have reached the end of the certification program, but there are 15 more modules to  come. If you feel like posting about some of the bonus modules, that would be great! Smile

It took a while, but I finally got done with the CE questions.  Got a 96% (go me!).  Will there be something sent out so that I can prove that I did the CE for license purposes.

You might have noticed, but I signed up for your foot class.

Yes I did notice that you signed up for the foot class. Smile

And of course I will send you a certificate for the CEUs!
