Thanks Shama! This is a nice summary review for the entire prone position. It shows me the complete process of doing prone position. It is so smooth and your explanation is sp clear. I will try to re-watch this session again and again, Making sure I can do as smooth as you are.

In module 29, the therapist sitting on the client's thigh is very interesting technique. My wife tries to do it on me. I feel great. That is the technique based on mutual trust, but very effective. The technique of hip stretch is required a lot of practice. I try to grab the trick of handling it.

Good point - you need to build trust with the client early on in the session by not doing anything painful or jerky or weird. Once the client feels that you know what you are doing, you can do ANY kind of technique without freaking the client out. Clearly you would not start a session by sitting on a client's thigh! Laugh

I think module 30 is very excellent session. The main focus of this session is the spine. I learn the spine twist and also the stretch from the leg to the shoulder of the side body. The rocking and the pressing of the muscles beside the spine are so effective. I try to to do it on my wife. She feels so good when I press the muscles slowly and deep. Again, I appreciate Shame so much as he tries to explain how to get the right ergonomics so well, especially the part he explains how to bend the body and do the stretch. Laugh

In module 31, the main focus of this session is on the shoulder. Basically, the techniques I learn in this session can help people to release the tightness of the muscles around the shoulder and also increase the range of motion of the shoulder. Shoulder pain is also a problem for people lving in a big city like Hong Kong. In addition with the techniques I learnt in other sessions, such as the module 30, I feel I can handle the upper body very well.

So you live in Hongkong? I did not know that. Is Thai Massage popular there?

Yes, I am living in Hong Kong. Actually, I would like to go to Thailand and find opportunity there. The rent in Hong Kong too high. It is not practical to start business here.

In module 32, it again put a lot of focus on the shoulder and the scapula. The side position makes me easier to apply the massage techniques.

I am wondering about one thing. I had received huge amounts of spam posts on my website, all coming from servers in China, so I had to prevent access to my website from China. Does this affect you in Hongkong? Did anything change when you accessed the forum, or does it still work the same way for you?

Shama, everything is fine. I have no problem to access the forum or the web site as a whole. Thank for your concern.

Today, I just finished the evaluation survey. I think this course is really worthy than what I pay. I have learnt more techniques than I need. For example, module 33 is, again, another excellent session. The technique I like the most is the back bend and shoulder stretch with foot rocking, and also, the spine twist is also very useful. All I have learnt so far, as Shama always mentioned, really will not make me feel exhausted when doing massage on my wife.

It is always nice to learn something from Shama! In module 34, he just so good to teach how to utilize the body to do the strectch. He just know the mechanism of how to do the strectch for his clients, like the technique of traction for arm and back. Everything is about know how make yourself and your client comfortable. I particularly like the back strectch and the technique of using forearm to do massage on nech and trapezius. These and energy saving and effective techniques!!
