Module 17:
The second hamstring stretch was funny for my partner for some reason and we didn't get through it without laughing so much, also this position made my partner pass gas...oops. The spinal twist were the ones i got to play with more and had the chance to get them tried on me and my back had a good deal of tension release afterwards. It amazes me that even when you're playing and learning it can be quite effective.

Module 18:
More spinal twist! Both me and my partner were happy to practice these because the last few were very helpful. The unsupported was my favorite to do and the supported was my favorite to receive. The supine cross legged stretch was a real treat and i think ill try to add this to many of my sessions. I did learn it might be better to warm up the muscles a bit before doing some spinal twist so we did a few minutes of elephant walking to ensure a healthy stretch.

Module 19:
I had no idea that there could be so many ways to manipulate the spine but these last few were some of my favorite, and largely because i got to be the recipient as well. The first one in this video was such a good stretch that i went back to it 3 more times after going though the module, and the same with the circular pattern with the shoulder muscles. My partner was so relaxed he said he felt like jelly, ha, which is better that gasey i guess:)

Module 20:
Since we knew there would be a lot of traction moves we started with simple walking up and down the back and legs to get things warmed up and i think it had an important part in the spontaneous alignments we were feeling. I didn't really have any traction moves in my sessions prior to this class but they will definitely be a part of most of my sessions now. I also learned how difficult it can be to move someone toward a plow pose when they have tight hamstrings so i had to back out of it and work the hamstrings a different way before going back to it.

Module 21:
I really like the older videos of how people used to do the tapping/vibrating techniques. I actually want to find some of these. I can see though how the electronic one might be easier, and i found one on amazon that i think might be a good addition to some sessions. Since i didn't already have one i didn't get the practice in but i look forward to having it!

I liked the reminder of using the working range when it comes to pain. It is nearly engrained into a westerners mind that if there is no pain there is no gain and that is ass backwards. In fact i have had plenty of massages where i thought since it hurt it was going to do more good and instead i hurt longer than i should have and was even bruised. Communication with the client in a silent way is a wonderful method!!

Module 23:
The energy concepts are my favorite and i look forward to implementing more of them. The stretching is gold but i want to learn more of the energy work and pass it along. Western medicine really needs to wake up to this..now more than ever! The power of thought and intention is very real and the more i practice it the more profound the results and my awareness. Thank you for these reminders!! I will certainly be looking into taking the course on magic touch secrets!
