Thanks for the compliment. Smile

That's what many students told me - every time they re-watch a video, they pick up something new that they had missed before.

Module 12

The calf muscle stretches, hip, piriformis , sacrum and SI joint massages were very interesting to learn about,  stretching of  the hamstrings and back using compression and traction felt tricky whilst using the breathing I had to  really focus on the transition, but going into the  double knee stretch felt amazing on the lower back  and opening the knees going deeper into the hip  most clients say they never felt their hips move this way.  Strongest version is very dangerous I don’t think I’m brave enough to do this one. Elephant walking is very good on the sacrum and clients really enjoyed it. i need to work on the right amount of pressure my clients love deep but my colleges can’t handle deep. The hamstrings hip and back stretch was ideal for my clients with tight lower back and hips everything went pop LaughWink which they enjoyed and down to the shaking and rocking was the icing on the cake.

Module 13

Assessing pain levels is important because it’s how I get to connect with my clients and help the client feel supported. My clients experience pain in the hip flexor, lower back and I.T. band so I practice the pie with the rocking technique.  I still practiced the techniques you showed to help with hip flexor pain. I understand how helpful it is to differentiate between bad pain and good pain And to not lean into that bad pain, but also not give up on the area because of bad pain but to acknowledge it and treat it. I really try to work with the breath good posture and thinking softness because the more relaxed I m the better I feel my clients we enjoy the scooping and wiggling best it really gets deep inside the muscle.

It's good to see that you are not only learning the techniques but also absorbing the underlying principles - the subtleties of this art. Smile

Module 14

Rocking is something most of my clients have become to love they keep tell me that they don’t want any pressing just the different rocking techniques is all they want me to practice. Just like the foot techniques are a session by itself my clients want rocking techniques all in one session. My biggest challenge with the rocking is transitioning from one side to the next I have been trying to get some music to help me with the rhythm, seems its helping little by little. But I keep watching the video over and over to get the correct transition.

I know, I have done plenty of sessions where I did mostly rocking, and the clients loved it. I could not even imagine doing Thai Massage without any rocking moves.

Module 15

I tried the various techniques with friends and some clients and for some reason that’s the first session I’ve done and they either didn’t like it and most of them said it was ok but I could sense that they were not comfortable  with me massaging the stomach ribs or even the chest. Tried being gentle but I’m not sure what I did wrong, still didn’t give up my wife whom had  just given birth had some after birth pains and cramps I practiced on her before bed and it has been helping her sleep t nights.

Abdominal work has to be done in a gentle, light way. It should feel like a dance. The main thing is that your wrist is not stiff. Without a loose wrist, the techniques don't feel good. Watch your wrist and check if it is rigid or fluid.

Module 16

The shoulders I believe has brought my clients back to me and I am more relaxed and feeling confident. Everyone fell back in love with the shoulders, and all stress and tensions were relieved. I have come to rely that most people carry loads of tension in the neck shoulders and hips over the years and these shoulder techniques have just opened my eyes and treating tension on an entirely new level. we have been having loads of fun with them.

Module 17

The arms and hands were amazing I’ve been practicing with my wife and daughter they love it. With the right amount of pressure and breath everything seems to flow much better. I always find myself watching the video over and over just to keep reminding myself of the rhythm and flow that u have. We’re having so much fun looking forward to try it with my clients.

Module 18

Transitions and spine twist is mind blowing most clients have loads of spine issues and are very sensitive to having one twist their body but u have made it so simple and very interesting. Single and double arm traction really gets the shoulders warm before going into the shoulder and spin twist and figure 8 shoulder move but as u said it will take some time getting use to it. Transitioning with these moves and getting them as smooth as u will definitely get take some practicing.

I take pleasure in watching you do your sequences and reminds me of how I need to keep correct body posture good ergonomics berating techniques and use my entire body with the perfect flow. I can’t stop watching the video over and over just to try and master the moves and become as fluent as u are. Yet another amazing video.
