I have gone through Modules 1-4...I need to watch each more than a few times to be able to grasp concept. It is a very simple and easy course to follow, especially if you have a partner to work with. At the moment I live on my own and don't have anyone I can practice on, but will be flying back to work Tuesday so I can practice on some friends see how that goes. I am so looking forward to trying out these techniques...also looking to join yoga as I may find people to practice on during my time at home. I work away 2 weeks at a time and home for a week...I will find a way of balancing out my practical time to use techniques...just a matter of time
Hi Luana, welcome to our forum and the Complete Thai Massage certification program. I see that you cannot actually practice the material yet until you have a practice partner. Once you do, you may find that what looks so simple in the video is not quite as simple to apply on a live person.
Joining yoga sounds like a great idea. You will easily find practice partners among fellow students, I think.
As far as the certification program is concerned, you might want to wait until you are able to get your hands on live people and then write your progress notes here in the forum. I am sure you will have some comments or questions at that point.
Also please take a moment and familiarize yourself with our certification check list here (especially section 5 and 7):
It will be very interesting how your work colleagues take to your new skills. I imagine they will be delighted.
