Welcome to the forum Nita. Yes, the Chi Machine does take some practice to get good at. It is not exactly the easiest technique, but once you figure out the flow and the rhythm, it is something that clients really appreciate.

Module 4

enjoy learning more about food massage, there so many technique that i learn more here... well i just curious about do we have to do all the technique every season and how many minutes that will take? when i am practicing all the technique with slow movement and controlling my breathing is take 30 minute to do all the step by step. the important thing is I like the transition that we still keep our hand contact to  the client.

You don't have to do all the techniques in every session, otherwise all your sessions will be 4 hours long. Smile The techniques are options to choose from, not fixed sequences. It is important to learn them all, but in a real session you will never do ALL the techniques which you will learn in this course.

Module 5

Interesting feet stretching in this module although I did using some of this technique already in swedish massage that i am practicing right now, well after watched this video I feel more confident  to do the feet stretching specially learning which angle to take to make my body more comfortable.  I got feedback from my partner that he didn't comfortable with full and push movement because he feel I full his hairs, he had a lot of hairs. Do i just skip this movement for the man who have hairy hair when i practice later on.

Module 6

I have partner which is a runner, i got very good feedback from him, which is the pressure are satisfaction even though i am small and I also  didn't feel any tired because i use my body weight. the only thing bother me is I have to be that close with genital area to do this movement, what is the client will think? or should i explain to him first ( specially male client) and how should i explain it? or do you have other position to do this movement without that close with the client.

Thank you SharmaSmile

The way to deal with men's hairy legs is to have them wear loose long cotton pants. I always keep some of those handy in case I need them for a client who is not dressed in the most practical and convenient way. Those simple cotton pants are very cheap here in Thailand and most massage shops have them handy along with simple tops. Maybe you can see what's available in your part of the world.

I know from personal experience that hairy legs can cause discomfort for men if you work directly on the skin, so it is best to not work on the skin directly with Thai Massage.

Regarding getting close to the genital area - mostly the client will not think anything if you don't see it as a big deal in your mind. You are not touching the genital and you don't put pressure on it. Just use common sense how far you can go with the technique.

Here in Thailand nobody is really concerned about that. Everybody knows that there is a lot of movement in Thai Massage, and a man's genital can get moved around during certain techniques, especially if you cross a man's legs for some stretches.

Just don't make it a big issue in your own mind. There are many techniques in Thai Massage where there is close physical contact between the therapist and the client - that's just how Thai Massage works. I would definitely not talk with the client about that. This will only make it an issue in the client's mind. If you feel too uncomfortable with a particular technique, just don't do this one.

However the fact is that with a little common sense you can do all techniques without doing anything inappropriate. However if you feel really insecure about it yourself, this will project onto the client, and then it will not feel right for you and your client. My suggestion is to not worry about it and to keep a reasonable distance from the genitals. It is not inappropriate to work in the hip joint area, and after all, the client is fully dressed.

Module 7

The way to read the hip condition from look they feet is really helpful, so we can know what they condition before start the season.  before i just read somebody condition from the way they walk or facedown but this way is a lot easier and also tell me what exactly they hip position and which level we need to work on them.

Module 8 & 9

The Pie concept is set my mind what should i do at leg stretching, this is the easy way to remember.  First time watched this module i was worry that probably i cant do it because i am petite person, but i remember talk to you on the Skype that size therapist is doesn't matter, you right Shama when is use my body weight is wasn't that hard like what i imagine before and i got feedback from my partner that the stretching is really help him, i do several time on him because he had limited range of motion on hip join and i did very carefully like you said so is not gonna heart him.

I figured if all these tiny Thai women can do it, then you can do it as well. Using your body and your body weight correctly is the whole secret here.

You will probably find that there are several surprising techniques in Thai Massage where you think that this could not possibly feel good, but it does, and all the clients like it. Smile
