1. Lesson.
Description of rocking and benefits of it. This wasn't a novelty, cause I used all the rocking techniques that are thrown in here and there in another courses, and I have felt all the calming and relaxing effects of them. I started to do a lot of rocking by myself when I feel a little bit stiff. Not as good, because I have to move myself slightly to get this rocking motion going, but still very beneficial.

Lesson 2.
Chi-machine was already in basic course. Nothing much to add. I use it almost every time. Sometimes people a bit surprised when I start doing it, but then relax.
Hip traction was OK. There was one client who felt clicking in the hip, actually I could feel it too, but no pain.

Lesson 4.
Yes yes yes. This rocking with squeezing the leg was one of my favorite. I mean receiving it. I think I could receive it the whole session and be happy.
Very good hint on locking ankle joint doing hip rotation/push-pull movement. It goes much more smoothly now. But I can say that there's difference which way to rotate. I mean pushing while foot is turned out is much easier.
Glad you found something you really like. I like this technique too, but I have to admit that I practically never receive it since nobody else is doing it here in Thailand. Maybe this will be easier for you since you have a practice partner hopefully who can work on you with this technique.
You know, there are ways to keep the rocking going during the entire session, but this is not ideal. Rocking is great, but if you rock a client for an hour straight, they will get tired of it. It is better to mix it up - do some rocking, some static pressure, some stretches... That also makes it easier to connect it all when you don't have to worry about how to keep the rocking going from one position to the next. As they say, "Variety is the spice of life".
In this rocking course I only show rocking techniques, but when you do a session, you want to use a variety of techniques, not only rocking ones, and blend them together skillfully to create the best experience for the client possible.

Lesson 7.
I saw this rock with the clients legs on your thigh(standing by the side, and client's hips and lower back hanging) a while ago and started using it right away, cause it was very pleasant for people with back pain. I experienced the problem with big clients on this. But then I decided that even if I'm not able to lift their hips off the ground it might steel feel good, and it does indeed. So I just put their legs on my thigh and try to push it up. Even if it's just a little and hips don't lift from the ground I still can rock the hips with my hands, and this small pushing makes rocking them easier. So in essence it's the same as simple hip rocking while lying flat, but with legs bent which can make all the difference when in pain.
That's my experience with this.

Lesson 8.
These where familiar techniques, but it was good to remind myself. I like the last position - shoulder rotation and rocks and spinal twist while sitting by the side with my legs over client's legs. Maybe because I have long legs and this is very comfortable for me, I feel almost like I'm having a rest when I do it.
Long legs sure help with that position! It is always easier to do a lot of the Thai Massage work when you are bigger, no doubt about that. Here in Thailand there are thousands of petite women doing it, so it can be done. For some of those stretches it just helps if you have a little more weight and size behind you.
