Module 1
I find the difference of leverage and weight on the floor to be immeasurable. I also feel that the quality of touch has nothing to do with anatomy knowledge, I am excited to learn how to work with the body by looking beyond the anatomy. I don't have any experience or knowledge of energy or energy work, this will be all new to me and I and looking forward to it.
The positioning is also going to be new for me. I do not currently work with clients side-lying. The tools though I've very familiar with as a massage therapist. I look forward to learning to work with my breath.

I really appreciated the clear explanation of the differences between Thai Traditional, Thai Yoga, and Thai Massage. When I was researching training options, I never found a straightforward answer, so this helped things click for me. I also loved the emphasis on body mechanics. Longevity in this work is particularly important to me, and I appreciate how realistic the expectations were for learning the material.
The Chi Machine was especially fun to explore. I was excited to try it, and my daughter loved it. Without any prompting, she told me her body felt like it was buzzing, which made me smile. Since she’s 13, it was easy to get a gentle full-body rocking motion going, but I found it more challenging with my husband. It’s definitely something I’ll keep practicing as I continue learning Thai Massage.
