Module 9. Module 8 came together so well for me that my comfort level with using my knee zoomed. And now I did Module 9 and really enjoyed it. The whole concept of being a good match for your client so that knee work will be beneficial came through loud and clear. In these earlier stages of learning how and when to use a knee it is not automatic to say okay, some knee Thai massage would be great here, but I see the potential for the integration of using elbow, forearm, thumbs, etc, and moving to a recognition that knees would be great in certain situations. I hope to get to that level at some point.
The second part of this module was wonderful. I started out ready to take notes and soon let that go to watch how the Thai Massage for shoulders came together. What would be next? How nicely that flowed! I noticed pauses of reading how it was going, gentle care and respect, with probably one of the biggest things was seeing Hara energy in a new way, not just a stop/start of remembering to use Hara energy, but a consistency of application of natural Hara energy when working with someone. It's what I thought about last night, not quite ready to put anything down on paper but to integrate what this means for myself.
Excellent modules, Shama, and so much fun among the elements of learning.
