Module 1

I began with module 1, the massage movement is really important, because this gives you the ability to engage a connection with your client, with that, they will give you the opportunity to help them heal. Transmitting your client with positive energy is the most important tool that a therapist or person can have. I think I have good mechanical techniques for a massage on the table, but you have helped me so much more with my breathing and mechanical techniques. On the floor its different I will have to get used to the different techniques. I tried last night on my daughter, 22 years old, a Thai massage with mix of compression and twisting on her thighs, rocking on her hips, she enjoyed it, and some pressure on her shoulders, also some stretching in the legs and arms and some traction on her neck. she say its was really relaxing and didn’t want it to end.

Hi Maritza, welcome to the Complete Thai Massage course and our forum!

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our certification check list here:
Certification Check List

It seems that you had a good start with the course and that you already have at least two people you can practice on. This is good since practicing on only one person results in a limiting experience. In Thai massage size and weight differences play a much bigger role than in table massage since there is a lot more body manipulation.

I am looking forward to reading about your progress with the course material and assisting you if you need help or have questions.

I practice on my two daughter’s today one love the supine position, I did some rocking and stretching, and the other one loves the prone position and i did use a pillow to make her head comfortable  and she loves the stretching, did some more work on her shoulders and both are very happy and relax.Smile

I work on my husband today the foot and ankle rotation no easy for him because he has some problems with both knees, I did some rocking movement also in his hips and shoulders, because he is to heavy for me to do the figure 8; I  did the upper body twist and there was some cracking he said oh you are breaking me in pieces, but I explain to him there will be in some people some cracking  release nothing to be scary about it, he understood and feel much better after the Thai massage. very happy with my lesson. cant wait until tomorrow to see my next video. Its been a long day but beautiful day!!!! from Tampa Florida, good night Shama Cool

It looks like you figured out the forum posting now. Smile

However it seems that you are reporting on the mini course modules as well. The mini course is really not a teaching program, but just a introduction. So you only need to write progress reports about the video modules from the Complete Thai Massage course.

I am glad you didn’t break your husband into pieces! Laugh You are right, the cracking from the spinal twists happens in many people and is nothing to worry about.

Maritza, your post title is “Module 3 foot massage“. But you are writing about the Mini Course module #5. There is nothing about your experience with the module 3 foot massage in your post. Frown

The mini course modules have nothing to do with the Complete Thai Massage course and the certification program. They are just an introduction to Thai Massage. They are not meant to be training videos.

In order to get your certificate, you are supposed to write about your practice experience with the modules of the Complete Thai Massage course only! That would be the module 3 foot massage now! Laugh

So please write another post with your practice experience of Module 3 foot massage. Don’t worry, you will figure it out! Smile

Module 3 Foot massage

Practice the Foot massage on my clients yesterday, Foot massage is very important in a massage the techniques that you teach in this video they are amazing, very nice love the 1,2,3 2,1 the movement of are body is a really nice synchronizing the movement with the clients movement, notice when i move the clients foot in and out the hips move and the rest of her body does, client says the movement makes him feel very nice and relax never experience before. also I did some stretching on his feet, like the shaking, I do that also with the hands massage, helps relax the muscle and flow energy. thank you for another awesome video.
