Woah, was a bit nervous, signed up for this when the offer came in.  Was worried I would be snowed under.  We will see how the next couple of weeks go.  Loved the first module, a lot of valuable info and the major technique taught is working well for me.  Was so glad that there were not lots of different moves in the first video.  Will have to be focused and committed to balance this new course with the other -Thai Massage Course- I am over half way through now.  I expect I will be Surprisedcontinuing on in the future once both of these courses are done.  Loving this process,  Thanks again Shama

Enjoyed Module 2 of the foot massage course, introducing some new techniques with knuckles and love the protective way you help us with thumb strain, helping us to make sure we are working well without doing damage to ourselves. Just watched Module 3 and it was a good mix of some techniques learnt in the first part of the Thai Massage course but also plenty of new variations and moves that enhance our ability to work on feet.  The deepening of specifics of the moves already done is still very valuable.  Great revision when looking at the idea of spending a lot more time on the feet.  Finding it OK doing both courses together so far.  Looking forward to practicing the new foot techniques seen today.  Better get on with it,

Many Blessings to all,

Yes, there is some duplication between the Thai Massage course and the foot massage course. As you say, the Foot Massage course goes more in depth and offers more variations. Once you get to the Thai reflexology part, it will all be brand new and totally different.

The foot massage videos have been coming thick and fast. Module 5 and 6 have been so valuable. I really like the forearm work on the sole of the foot, it is such a lovely flowing movement.

It has been interesting to  work on the foot with a client in the prone position. The knees, elbows techniques have also been great.  One of my favourite moves learnt in the other course has been the circular body move whilst working on the soles of the feet.  Seeing that be extended up through the ankle areas and even on to the leg was fantastic.  Some work on the achilles tendon has also been valuable and as before the deepening of some of the moves previously learnt and more variation.

This course has been great revision and many more movements have been supplied as well.  Love getting the close up of each move as well, that has been enlightening.   Loved the ankle loosening techniques for stiff hips that effect leg movement all the way down to the ankle. Love the way you have explained the plan of attack for observed symptoms. Amazing. So good to have so many ways to support the improvement of all aspects of foot, ankle, knees, thighs and hips and lower back.  Module 7 has arrived, thought I had better catch up on the forum before I watch it.  Have been so happy about this learning but the last few days it has all  been catching up on me.  Looking forward to this last video and seeing this new aspect to foot work.  Then information flow will slow up a bit going back to the 3 days.  I seem to have made it through though.

thank you again Shama, take care

Yes, being in two courses at the same time can feel like overwhelm, I can imagine. But remember that you don't have to post according to the delivery schedule. You can take longer -  just to cover situations like yours I made a provision (explained in the course manual) which extends the time frame for certification to 3 months for the foot massage course and 6 months for the Thai Massage course. So don't put yourself under pressure. You need to be relaxed since the last foot massage module is a whole new thing and will take time to study, absorb and practice Smile.

I am so glad you are taking those courses. It feels to me that you will be able to do a lot of good with them. You definitely have the right type of energy and attitude for a great therapist.

Module 7.  Back to more familiar ground with use of oil and client off the floor.  The techniques have been great for more focused work on the feet, still using similar concepts with the lines and movements up and back through an area but now we can utilize the foot reflexology map and be more target oriented as well.  The interactive reflexology maps for feet and hands was a great resource in itself. A great way to end the "Foot Massage" course.  I keep thinking of areas that I want to learn more about and see that now that this course has finished I can get back to focusing on only the Thai Massage Course.  In future I can then focus on areas like shoulders, lower back, hips etc to deepen learning.  Thanks so much for being such an accessible and inspiring teacher.

Thanks for your compliments. You are certainly a very inspiring student as well. Students like you keep me motivated in my work!

This last module can easily form the foundation for an entire modality. Actually this is exactly what it is here in Thailand. When I find the time, I might add another module to this course.
