Section 3 Module 25
I lean on the back muscle and pushed away from me with the palms of my hands and I remembered not to lean on the spine.
My friend is a big boy with big muscles and I realised that this time that was and advantage since it was easier to know where it was every muscle. Anyway I used my fingertips to explore and find areas which need attention and I found a couple of spots to work on harder.
After a while of leaning on the back muscle I started to relax the trapezius by leaning on it helping with the knee. I found this position interesting but at the beginning I was not able to apply all the power I wanted since I was pushing only with the knees. Then I remembered to breath, to think about softness and to send power from my Hara and it worked.
Also I tried the Working with the elbows in the groove on the far side of the spine technique. First I made sure where the groove was and then and after double check with my fingers I placed my elbows in the groove being careful not to put them into of the spine. I only used it for the lower back and it was very effective. It felt good and my friend told me that he liked it.
At the beginning I stated using the Rocking forward with the knee on the near side of the spine technique very softly ,always making sure I support my body weight with my hand even thought my friend is a big and strong man but after a while I put the leg harder back and left it so I could put more pressure in the muscle with the other leg. It felt every trie under control.

Section 3 Module 26
I had a very big friend with an strong back today for the massage so I was glad not use the thumb or wrist , I was glad to be able to use the forearm along the sides of the spine . This time I also placed the soft part of my forearm into the scapula. It looked like weird but it turned out nice and he didn't mind it.
After that ,I did the elephant walking on the far side of the back on a galloping horse rhythm which it was fun to do.
The forearm rocking against erector muscles on near side of spine it was a little more difficult to do it right at the first time. It took me some tries to do it right but after that I thought that was a beautiful technique and good for lower back pain release.
Using the Rolling over erector muscles on near side of spine in gallop rhythm technique all the way the spine it was good and Then I could see how tiring for the thumbs can be to use them all the time.
To finish the session I did the Neck and shoulder squeezing and circling technique, circling with my left hand holding the neck and squeezing with my right hand between the neck and the shoulder, on the trapezius . I checked with him and he loves it. Who dent like a little bit of love in the neck?

Section 3. Module 27
Today I used the Circling the trapezius with the fingertips technique, between the neck and the shoulders, circling inwards and up. It was nice and easy.
The Kneading the trapezius walking up and down with the thumb it was good, specially because I have a girl friend who had a very soft back. She enjoy it.
Doing the Up and down wiggle with fingertips in the groove between spine and erectors, lining in and out with the body it was good specially because I noticed how much she was enjoying it and It was also not hard for me to do it.
Palm circles on the shoulder blades techniques it felt very nice.
When I had to practice the Lift and loosen up shoulder blade technique...it was a little bit scary. First , I was scared of putting my friend in a very uncomfortable position and second because putting my fingertips under the shoulder blade and pushing up...it sound like a crazy idea. Anyway I did it and surprisingly my friend was happy all the time and she said that is was all good. Great.
The Shoulder stretch with backward rotation technique it was another scary one to try but also it was good to see that if I don't pull the arm too high very soon and I keep putting pressure in my right hand so the body stay in the ground, is okay.
With the arm in the same position than the technique before, and no so scare anymore I tried the Upper body twist technique, holding the shoulder with my hands interlocked making circles and and up making and upper body spinal twist.
Since my friend is flexible I did Cobra 3. Since it was my first time I did it carefully and I started with number 1, then the 2 and when I saw that was ok, then I tried number 3. The feedback I got from her was very good.
I ended with the Percussion on back. It felt great.

Section 3 Module 28
It was very helpful to see you doing the full sequence. I specially focus in the transitions.
Also I liked the tip about checking if both sides are the same or one is tighter the the other. Always checking and follow your intuition to help the person. Not being a robot giving a massage.
"When I had to practice the Lift and loosen up shoulder blade technique...it was a little bit scary. First , I was scared of putting my friend in a very uncomfortable position and second because putting my fingertips under the shoulder blade and pushing up...it sound like a crazy idea. Anyway I did it and surprisingly my friend was happy all the time and she said that is was all good. Great."
I have heard that so many times from therapists that they are afraid to do a certain technique, but the client loved it.
Thai Massage techniques can look scary in the beginning, but once you learn how to control them and experience some client feedback, they are all good. I guess you have that experience now too.

Section 4 Module 29
Palming the leg , working on the inner thigh of the stretched leg of my friend who is lying on her side. It was very nice technique to start with and warm up.
Then, To keep stretching the leg , I sat down on the inner thigh with the outer section of my buttocks of the stretched leg. I was very careful putting my bodyweight since she is lighter than me . I moved very slowly up and down the leg helping myself with my hands in the floor. She told me that was ok , she was confortable with this stretch.
After that I stretched the side of the hip and for that I put a pillow in between the bended knee and the hip so the leg didn't slide out when I massaged. I put my hands one into of the other and I started by circling with my palms . It was a very easy technique but very efficient until I swiched and used the rolling down with forearm technique on the hip.
I Finnish with The inner thigh and hip stretch technique, placing one hand in the hip and lining over with the other hand and the leg , in a grateful flow.

Section 4 Module 30
Starting with the elephant walking above the spine with my friend lying on the side. This time my friend was a tall person so I had to move my knees up and down while I was moving my hands up and down the spine. Also because he had a very strong back I decided not to use the technique using my thumbs along the spine walking the erector muscle. Instead I spend longer with the elephant walking.
After I used the leaning on the erector muscles with the heel of my hand and my knee in my arm to support it. Leaning into my two hands, one is in the erector muscle and the other in the hip, at the same time that I was giving small steps up and down the back since my friend is really tall with a big back. To tell the truth..it was a little difficult to get the right angle pressing but at the end..I got it.
Next I position my friend in a (0 degree position to the sideways to the floor and with one hand on the hip and the other on the shoulder, we will do an spinal twist. I did very slowly the beginning and getting stronger little by little because my friend is not the most flexible person in the world and using feedback from him all the time.
I preferred the Spinal twist in rocking motion with one hand on the shoulder and moving the other handing places close to the hip , always above the spine, twisting the back. I felt that was better to relax the back since use different positions and also I enjoyed the challenge of doing different things with my hands with rhythm.
To finish, I used the Hip flexor, quadriceps and lower back stretch with my knee in the gluteus in the soft part no on top of the sacrum and pulling back with the hand in the shoulder and the other in the leg, increasing gradually the power of stretch and always with feedback

Section 4 Module 31
Putting my friend on his side, 90 degree paralel to the side, blocking his shoulder with my forearm and my body. I did the shoulder circling technique with both hands in the shoulder and focusing in maintaining blocking my friends arm. It was very easy and nice to do. Then I move one hand to the trapezius so I circling with one hand in the shoulder and the other in the trapezius which was good also. What it was a little more challenging was to do the shoulder circling with the rocking motion specially because I had the same friend with strong and no very flexible back.
When I tryed the Arm circling with shoulder stretch, I moved the arm 360 degrees ,helping the rotation of the shoulder with my other hand and I did it slowly always supporting the shoulder to no overstrech it and of course helping the all movement with my body. I was circling too
The most challenging stretch I did today was when I tried the rotate shoulder back using my leg to keep the arm in place . Just the movement of my body was weird and it took me a while to figure out the movement of my hands but I have to say that my friend fall sleep. He really enjoy it so I keep doing it for a while

Section 4 Module 32
Being on the side, I swung the arm around parallel to the floor. I placed my thumb bellow the shoulder in the soft area, pulling forward while I was pulling back the arm with the other hand. Today I had a flexible girl friend so to do this technique I had to move myself more to the legs side of her body so I could pull more.
I really liked when I did the Releasing the scapula technique , pressing with the thumb down the scapula and rolling the shoulder over it. But I liked even more when I did the same stretch using all the fingertips instead of only the thumb because I was getting a really good feedback from my friend who has a lot of knots over that part of the body.
She was enjoying so much the scapula stretch that I kept using variations like the lift and pull scapula back. Pulling with my fingertips the scapula up in a circling movement while I was helping myself with the other hand in the shoulder. This technique helped me to relieve the muscle behind the scapula and all the knots she had.
Doing Shoulder and arm traction technique holding the armpit with one hand and pulling the arm with the other was easy to perform. Then I knead the muscles right bellow the shoulder, moreoless in the armpit. she loved it also.
Finally I did the shoulder and arm traction stretch making little circles shifting the bodyweight and even I thought that the position was weird and may caused her pain...I learned to trust the technique and give it a try without being scared . She enjoyed it.

Section 4 Module 33
I had a bony friend today for the massage so I put a pillow between my knee and the spine so it was more confortable for her when I started kneading the trapezius area with my hands and I was estabilazing her back with my knee. Also the pillow was useful when doing the trapezius area offset rocking.
When I used the squeeze neck with palms and slide up technique I realised how good it had to be to receive that massage since I have chronic pain. I felt jealous watching how the neck muscles were getting more and more loose.
Trying out the Back bend and shoulder stretch with foot rocking technique with my friend was very surprising. I didn't know that she was sooo flexible that way. I had my legs stretched and I was able to be nearly lying on the floor pulling her arms Then she told me that she used to do ballet when she was a child and that she loved to do yoga by herself .
Last one was the gentle and slow spinal twist and again she really twisted the body.
I realised that bony flexible people they are very easy to please when receiving a massage because they don't have big muscles and derived from it they don't have big knots or anything like that

Section 4 Module 34
Trying the Traction for arm and back , grabing the upper arms of my boy friend who is taller than me....I couldn't do it. I realised that this stretch is only possible when the receiver is smaller than the person giving the massage.
I moved forward trying the Back stretch technique which was very nice. I have good balance but anyway I was focusing all the time in maintaining the balance and ended up good.
The Forearm therapy work on neck and trapezius was also a little bit of a challenge again since I am smaller than him and when I put my arm in top of the bended knee to hold the head....I was too far down the head.
The Shoulder stretch It was a very deep stretch and since he is not very flexible I took care of doing it very slowly and of course, making sure that the back was supported

Very interesting video. I like the way you explained what was Thai massage and the way to approach the type of massage she was going to get.
Nice to see how to tell the person who is going to get the massage about the 1 to 10 technique and also to encourage them to say what is not going well during the session.
Really liked the Concept of changing cell memory as part of the therapy process and the effects of having a massage, healing yourself and affecting the underlaying energy.
Also the advice about how to deal with Different people and the different information process: Auditory, visual, kinesthetics. To find the right amount of information to give to the person having the massage
