Module 2

My partner loves the routine. I cant wait to try it on someone with a genuine knee problem. i know some of these moves from the Thai massage course. The pressure points are new to me and I am grateful to learn them. The work on the knee fascia is very releasing my partner says. Their knees were much looser after the session

You know, I have had some results with this knee work that even surprised me! And I have great success stories from students too. Who would think that you can even massage a knee,  but you can!

Module 3

I am beginning to believe in the rocking technique the more I use it.The concept of flow and cell memory is worth embracing in the pursuit of nudging the body to self healing. I cant wait to test these techniques on someone with genuine knee problems.

Module 4

Thanks again for telling me to work with my entire body.I felt good doing these moves and had no difficulty. Always a preferred option of mine to use the forearms as it helps preserve my body.

I am glad to hear that the rocking techniques are growing on you and that the concept of working with your entire body is sinking in. You seem to be one of those male therapists who have enough power to work with their muscles and use their hands a lot. Sometimes for those it is quite difficult to unlearn this and totally work with their body, using minimal effort.

This is often easier to learn for women who just don’t have so much strength and power, and therefore they have no choice but to work with their bodies to compensate for their lack of muscle power.

In either case, it is a concept that every therapist needs to integrate into their work habits. It makes the work easier, more enjoyable, more connected, and it helps prolong our career by not straining our bodies more than absolutely necessary.

I always thought that the back of the knee was an endangerment zone:always to be avoided. However with your techniques its ok and causes no harm. Your demo of a real Knee therapy session is appreciated. Can Thai massage be called the ultimate sports massage? I think many athletes would benefit from this therapy.

I think that would be quite an accurate description – ultimate sports massage.
