The Quantum Touch method is just one way of moving energy. If you want to do it the way you are used to, that will work just as well.

Module 19 upperbody summary

Loved watching this. Using whole body movements.Using the breathe and thinking softness while the whole time managing good intentions."This person is whole, healthy and in harmony with their self others and this good Earth".That is my intention for each person i come in contact with.

Module #20

The prone position.I still have trouble mastering turning them over from supine to prone and having them still in the center of my mat. They don't know it but I do.

People love to have their feet worked on and using the elbow gives it another boost I believe. The push pull was good.Next time i will make sure to get the bigger pillow und thier chest first before the rocking mode.Too much friction on breasts for this one.The achilles tendon and  then elephant walk on calves seemed to be tender spots for this one.i had to barely use any pressure.Which then was delightful.Ha! I want this done to me now.

Good intention-visualization!

Calves are often very tender. That's not a spot where you want to use a lot of direct pressure unless you are working the calf muscle laterally so that it doesn't get pushed onto the bone.

Module21 Prone position Warm ups

Yeah for more warm ups. I find myself doing this more than the stretches and practice people are still enjoying every minute iof it.

Lifting someones leg is not as easy for lightweights like me,even though I am strong. So i kind of very gracfeully lift a little and slide myself under there. Works. Then I get down to business with the forearm. Not worrying too much about wether their leg stayed where i put it.I may have worked on the same 3 spots a few more times.Moving up and working on glutes and hips worked fine. Everyone likes to rock . Then bent their knee and did stretching on upper leg.I was uneasy about using my knee, but managed to do it kind of.Did attempt to move my foot up and do thepower stretch but it really didn't feel  comfortable to them.I might not use that one again for a while.

I think I am working more with energy blockages and flow and healing than anything else,But learning all this gives me the reason to be in thier space . They are happy and i am happy,so it works.

I might just call it Trancedance through Thai bodywork.

"Trancedance through Thai bodywork" - that's how it often feels to me. I like your description.

Doing less stretching and more warmup style work is often underrated in Thai Massage. However it is often more effective and more appreciated by clients. After all who can handle one or two hours worth of stretching!

Module 22 Prone stretches

After warming up bending her feet to buttocks compressing on back of thigh, which she liked.then moved to both legs and feet slowly then crossed and moved out a bit for better stretch she could handle because she is a yogi.Sat backwards and did the best I could with hands under the knee and pulled up a little.I myself not comfortable yet with the lifting leg ,holding and compressing. A little hard on my lower back.maybe i did it incorrectly. I will continue on another practice session for that. The knee in the glut area was enjoyed by reciever and pulling up on opposite hip.

This is getting interesting. She texted me last night thanking me for putting this gift out there.(-.-)

So thank you Shama for teaching me this gift of healing. You are benefiting others more than you realize.

Module 23 Sacrum and glutes

Circles on the sacrum were very relaxing, then the rocking my body forward and back while wiggling them was lick rubbing your belly and tapping the top of your head lol. They were almoat asleep so i know they liked that as well. The percussion with loose fists was also added and enjoyed. Then the rocking and compressed circles on the glutes. Note; i did have them turn their head when I moved to the otherside so their neck would not get cramped from being in one position for a time.

Good thinking, Kathy, about the head turning. That's always a good idea when working in prone.

Module 24 More Prone upper back

This was a hypnotic tecnique. Circles on the upper back moving ,breathing i think I may have been humming a tune as i did this. Then it got more movement withe wiggles and rapid palm circles then more offset wiggles. They loved this and who wouldn't enjoy a nice long back  rub.

Module #25Prone

Check the erector muscles with fingers found lots of knots it seems.Palm compression up and down back to warm up. Found the groove and used both elbows rocking forward and back moving up and down the lower back. Then used knee on same side erector muscle rocking side to side. Then moved hand to upper back for stability and rocked forward and back all the while in breathing and rythmic motion. She really enjoyed this technique. Not as much as # 24 though lol.

Yes, the wiggle techniques feel really good and are generally enjoyed by the clients. However when you work on big backs and big knots, then you need the power tools like elbows and knees.

Module #26 More prone using forearms.

Using the forearms on the sen lines up to the shoulder blades was enjoyed. Although i felt clumsy she didn't notice at all.Better with the galloping elephant palm walks, lol.Rocking on lower back with forearms went well. I have skinny arms and she didnt have much back muscle so i went real light with all this. The thumb work was more controlled and she loved the neck squeez and pull with circles on the traps.

Module# 27 upper back

Using finger tips to circle just below neck muscle and then kneading shoulder blades. She was pretty tight and tender but said she liked it.She really liked the fingers under the shoulder blade pull as well.

The arm back and resting on my extended leg for the shoulder stretch while holdingnher back down with other hand worked well. She liked the 3 position cobra too. Then the percussion with the loose fists was all a good benefit for her. I remembered the pillow props for under her chest so she was comfortable through out.And is refering me to her sister for a session. Ta da. i like when that happens.

Module28 Prone summary

Iam enjoying watching you work this short session in full flow. This gentle healing art is so needed by everyone I have worked on.It was suggested to me that I might offer to work on hospice patients because at this stage they are not getting enough human touch, contact.hmm So i may volunteer for that human connection and healing on a trancendent level for them.

I think that's an excellent idea, Kathy. I think you can touch many lives in a profound way if you do that.

Module #29 Side position

Lower leg straight out with upper leg at 90 degrees with pillow underneath.Quite comfortable.Elephant palm walk on inside straight leg was a good warm up for her.Sitting side ways on inside thigh was tricky ,she thought i was still useing the heel of my palm so it was not too intense for this one.forearms worked on hip along with percussion fists all went well.Leg cradle was not graceful first time, can work on that one more.

Plenty more shoulder work coming up. Not all so easy, but well worth learning since they are quite unique techniques.

I had a session with a young lady today. She has a rod in her back so I was extra careful, no cobra or anything like that but i did lots of warm ups andsome stretches, concentrating on her legs, hips and all the sacrum work. She  gave me the best feed back i have had yet. She felt relaxed, calm and she felt completley whole again. This was a 2 hr session, she spoke not a word until I finished. Then she said Oh kathy you just do not know how unwired I feel right now. What you are doing is amazing. And let me tell you it is rare that i would trust a person to touch and move me so closley this kind of human to human touch is nurturing.I trusted you all the way.

I was a little overwhelmed and never thought about it that way. There are some people who could not do this because of the closeness and there are others who really need to be touched in this nurturing way.My integrity stands well. whew!! The connection was made for her to be whole.
