Module 1 ultimate shoulder massage.

I found it Interesting the views between the Western an Asian approach on how to treat the body with massage.

When using this method on my clients it seems foreign to them at first, they quickly warm up to the concept when the realize how relaxing it really is.

As always I try to find ways to modify for use on the bed.

The sideways rocking really helps relieve stress off my clients, who are heavy busted, an has lot of strain on back.

The lifting upper back technique has a really good stretch to it.I enjoyed it greatly

Hi Julie, did you fill out a certification registration, or did I miss it? Are you going for the International or the CE certificate like you did with the Thai Rocking Massage course, or are you just posting for the fun of it? Smile I didn't see that you registered for the test questions, so I am trying to make sure I got it right...

Module 2.   Just finished module 2. There was so much information covered in this session. I had to watch the video twice to make sure i got everything.

I really like the finger movements, most of my clients have tight areas at neck.Sometimes it is difficult to get between neck and shoulders with just hands.

I was impressed with the Pec rolling. It will be most helpful on clients that are thicker in this area, especially my female clients. I canrelease Pecs without a lot of pressure to breast area.

I like being able to incorporate stretches with my body work. The push- pull shoulder stretch should be wonderful to help release the tightness of the Scm an the Levator.

Module 3

I really liked the traction technique. The stretch feels excellent to the arm. I feel like it really opens the ribs as well.

In the arm shaking technique for people with stiff arms, I found it easy on the arms. My training partner said it was very relaxing for them.

I was surprise in the 'rowboat session'to learn how just the slightest movement of the foot can change the pressure on the arm.

We really enjoyed the triangle stretch. I thought it was cool the way the hand was placed to give it a really good stretch an using the foot to stabalize it

Finished module 5. Today I applied some of the techniques I have been learning in this course. My clients were really impressed at my knowledge of the shoulder.

I am always amazed at how many different was on body part can be worked.

I think I was most impressed with the shoulder an built in stretch. I am still working on rotating the shoulder back while leaning on the trapeizus. I have come far already with this module. I look forward to the next one.

Module 6.  This was a bit challenging for me. The challenge was getting comfortable with thumb under scapula. My partner was very patient.

I did quite well on the kneading of the muscle below the shoulder. I felt comfortable doing this.

The sandwhich rocking was easy an warmed the shoulder nicely.

I am glad to hear that your clients are impressed with your knowledge of shoulder work. And they should be, because this course will certainly turn you into a shoulder specialist.

Module 7.   I found the information useful on the pillow placement.

I like to using the foot and the arm pull on the Deltoids, the trapezius and the upper arms.My practice partner said it gave a good stretch and a lot of release in those tight areas.

I been using a modified pillow to work the arms of my clients while on the bed. I like it because it elevates the scapula and the shoulder so I can work deeper with less pressure. My clients really like the support under the shoulder and the arm, while they are in prone position. I look forward to trying more of your techniques in the future

Module 8

I found this module to be very interesting.I like the use of the knee cap on the larger muscled clients. Alot of my clientele are heavily muscled, this really takes alot of pressur off my hands.

The challenge in this module, is learning to move in a circular motion with the knee an maintain balance.

One of my favorite new moves will be circling  with the forearm while moving the arm at same time

Module 9

I enjoyed this module most because I can see how everything flows together.

I also agree that as long as it feels good to the client an the technique works well,an gets results you should use that technique.
