Clients tend to love sacrum and glute work. The thing is that most massage therapists don't even go there unfortunately. Many therapists have the erroneous idea that it is somehow not appropriate to massage there - why they think like that I have no idea. The fact is that we should work there because it feels great, provides relief and clients appreciate it.

The use of elbows will save the fingers and wrist greatly, but also allow you to produce great pressure over a larger area, a must fir the therapists if wanting to keep healthy hands..

Yes, that's the idea - whenever possible we want to replace our hands with another body part.

I tried the galloping method and my wife liked the variations in speed helped activate the blood flow in the area, and release the tension quicker.

Absolutely love the shoulder side twist always get a release in my vertebrae when doing this. The percussion tapping is also very relaxing to the client and helps move the energy through the meridian lines.

This was a great mod, i have alot of clients i do yoga and reiki for that suffer from sciatica. Lying Flat can cause a flare, but the side position eliminated this and also excellent for getting full range from the top shoulder.

I actually prefer the side method for the erectors,  I fell i can isolate them better. Again thus would also be the only option for pregnant cliet as you stated.  Great video..

If you have many clients with sciatica problems, you might want to consider adding my Thai Massage For Sciatica course to your repertoire. That would give you very specific tools to work with sciatica.

I like that this video shows the ability to work on the side. Shoulder work for people with rotator cuff issues will find this position much more comforting i think. Also the control of the joint is more reassured from this angle.

Im glad you covered the scapula,  i myself suffer from a very limited rotaion of the shoulder due to scar tissue, I find the diferance maker is when i have work done to the scapula. greatly increases my range of motion.

question due you ever use any acupressure in your massage?

That depends how you define acupressure. In the Thai system of natural medicine there are specific pressure points which are used in some cases of therapeutic applications. They are not used in your normal Thai Massage session and only therapists who have undergone special training know how to use them. So you could call that Thai acupressure.

Then there is pressure application along the Thai sen lines which could also be called a form of acupressure. However I assume you are referring to the system of acupressure which is basically acupuncture without needles. This specific system is not used in Thailand.

I personally don't use it since I am focusing on teaching a massage system. Acupressure is a therapy, but it is not a massage. It is certainly possible to combine the two, and if someone is skilled in both systems, that can be done.

Great video on the side twists and back work. Agreed that this is not a very comfortable position for most and could in some cases bring down the enjoyment of the massage..

Great position for sholder and neck work, but like myself very uncomfortable for long periods of time on the lower back..but the foot work to lower back and the stretching does work well from this position.

I like that you included this, if a client can understand the concept of why you are doing certain movements, the breathing ect....They as well can help along the process through thier intention. Breathing through movements and relaxing through stretches..

Excellent course and thankful to you fir offering ut in such a professional manner..
