Module 1

executing the first technique in this module was really easy. My mother liked the pressure. She said it was perfect. I really excited to start this course. Thai foot massage is definitely a modality that I want to really master. I plan on serving this to runners who experience different foot problems.

Module 2

my mom is a huge fan of thai foot massage. To give you a short background. My mother experiences numbness in her feet and legs, which I think it is due to some kind of nerve impingement. Foot massages are really beneficial for her  So, the first technique was easy to catch on because, in a previous course , I’ve already practiced the upward the rolling technique with the hand and wrist. The only aspect that felt awkward was the gap in my grip in the first line sen line which is congruent with the first toe
my favorite technique in this video is using my  knuckle in the sen lines.  I feel like there’s more stability using my knuckles and smooth flow. Regard the last technique with the elbow, I still need to find a comfortable placement of my subjects foot in my thigh.

module 3

The first technique wasn’t hard for me because I’ve practiced this technique in the complete Thai course. It took some practice like shama said.My mom loves this technique. She usually feels a tingling sensation in her foot and leg. To be honest, I don’t perform this method as fast as shama; however, I think my subjects still reap the benefits. My moms favorite was the leaning my thumbs into her pressure point on top of the dorsal side of the foot and the Achilles’ tendon techniques.

That's great that you are now developing the skills to help your mom with her foot issues. Just wait until you are done with the entire course, and you will have amazing foot therapy skills that your mom will greatly appreciate!

Module 4

I think these are good techniques to know, especially for big clients. I definitely don’t want to wear my thumbs out. The first technique  was kind of challenging because of balancing in one kneee. I think the key is finding your comfort zone in this first technique. It took me a couple tries before I was comfortable. I like the Elbow technique in the side lying position because it would be convenient  for my future clients who can’t lie in the prone position. For the most part, the techniques were easy to follow.

module 5

I’ve already learned the 6 techniques  in the complete thai course, except for the wiggle technique. The wiggle technique is convenient because I have friends who are stiff in the ankle. I’m looking for to using the variation.

my father has locked hips, so it wasn’t easy performing some of the techniques at first. However, when I would execute the rocking techniques for the hip, it would easier to do some of the foot techniques in this module

The next section of this course will be totally different and will give you an entirely new skill. That's what you can use to do stand-alone foot massage sessions.

Module 6

I’m grateful shama showed an alternative to the ankle rotation because My mothers right ankle makes a cracking sound whenever I execute the rotation technique. I followed the technique in this module:  I grabbed my mothers ankle and moved hit in the opposite direction while I rotated her foot and bingo, no more cracking sound. After I was done with this technique, i performed the foot shake, which I made sure I wasn’t shaking the foot.

module 7

i really liked the different variations of using your hands in this module. The variation I felt the most comfortable ex was umy right knuckles  on both feet. I still need to get used to using my left hand because my left hand has less coordination. My girlfriend really enjoyed the techniques. She was watching Netflix and had to stop because the foot massage was soo good. She agrees that the different variations contributed to a great foot massage.  The variation that caused the most stress was using the distal part of my thumb. After a few seconds, I felt tension in my thumbs.

module 8

this is very important module because shama goes iver the correct body mechanics or ergonomics, which is very important for foot massage because you can wear your hands out real fast.however, the issue I’m running into, I’m only referring to the recliner seat position, is that it’s hard to have good ergonomics when the chair or bed I’m using  is not approximately the same height as your waist or below your knee but higher. . I couldn’t perform the moves efficiently with my legs behind my arm because my partners feet were too high. As a result, my arms and hands started to stress. The brick wall here is finding a chair and stool with the same hieight as the chair and stool in the module.

Don't call it a brick wall. Laugh  You will find exactly what will work for you with a little time and effort.
