i have a 90 year old grandmother from Japan who I got the pleasure of practicing on. She is very active and loves to get out and walk. However with her age she does get tired easily. She really liked the rocking part of the warm up. To begin with she didn't really have much range of motion in her ankles, I assume because of age. However over time as I would bend and flex her feet her range of motion did improve. We then moved into the leg stretches. Of course I did have to improvise and use a pillow under her knee to do the elephant walk. The more we did this the more pressure she was able to take. We were not ever able to take the pillow out from under her knee but she said it greatly helped with the amount of tension she had been feeling in her legs. And luckily she has very small feet because I was able to stretch her leg while sitting between them and having her knee at a 90* angle and pressing my foot up doing the right angle foot-hip stretch.
