I absolutely love the leg stretches and techniques. It took me a little but to get comfortable with them. I took it step by step and tried to just get used to how they feel. Thankfully the people I practiced on were patient as I eas feeling things out. As far as the hip techniques I also really enjoyed those. I worked on a girlfriend of mine who previously mentioned her favorite part of going to the chiropractor is the pelvic adjustment. I figured she would be the perfect person to practice the techniques on. She really enjoyed the experience in its entirety. And said it was very relaxing. I was a little cautious just because I know the hips are a sensitive area for so many people. There is more to learning a Thai massage than just learning the techniques, you really have to spend separate time really "feeling" the techniques. Ia it okay if we need to take a step back and review some of the previous techniques? I know that after the leg related videos I needed a little time to put it all together. If we go over the time were supposed to complete by a little is that okay?
No problem Helga. I just set a time limit to have some kind of standard, but if someone is on a roll, I have no problem being flexible with the time frames. I am glad that the course finally ended up working out well for you after your initial challenges being sidetracked by life.
I am still here! Ha I appoligize for the delay in posting. The season change between summer and winter is very dramatic here in Florida and myself and both of my children have been sick. I have continued to practice the techniques. It's easy to have someone to practice on when three people are stuck in a house together. I have also continued to move forward in the videos and will be posting more updated infornation on my experiences and any questions I have tomorrow
Talking about dramatic seasonal changes. Here in Thailand we are experiencing the coldest winter in decades. Normally temperatures during the winter season are warm during the day and slightly cool at night. But this year it is really cold for several weeks, meaning in the 50s and 60s in town and with frost in higher elevations. In the US that doesn't mean much because you just go home and turn on the heater. But here in Thailand nobody has a heater. So if its 50 degrees outside, it is 50 degrees inside your house as well with no way to warm it up.
I appoligize for how long it took to repost. I have continued to practice and study however I am at the point where I have finished up to the end of the leg movement. I practice mostly on my children. I live kind of far out from most of the people I know and it can be difficult with varying schedules it has be difficult to get adults to work on but I am trying to find someone to work with regularly a few days a week.
