I've just started practicing Heavenly Head Massage. According to the partners it feels very pleasant and really relaxing. Especially effective are neck techniques. As for me I find them most difficult, I still need a lot of practice to make them flow. I also find them a bit strenuous for the back, but might be because of little practice. On whole I am very satisfied with the course because of very inspiring comments of my partners.
Thank you very much.
It is true that the neck techniques are the most difficult part of the course. During the other sections of the course your client is lying in the same position without moving, but for the neck work you manipulate the client's head in mid-air in so many ways. For the neck work you really have to watch your ergonomics so that you don't strain your back.
I suggest you watch the videos again and pay close attention to how I support my arms during the neck work. You can also try working on a massage table where you can adjust the height so that it is most comfortable to you.
Once you master the neck techniques, you can do very effective work on clients with neck problems.
