Well one thing im thankful for is that you used the word discomfort, I was practicing on my client while watching the video this time she likes the word discomfort over the word pain as well. I was always used to using the words pain level, but the word discomfort is more comforting to hear then pain and helps keep the client relaxed. My client loved the circles, the scoops ,and the wiggling she found it quite relaxing. she really enjoyed the 45 degree angel stretches. She had no discomforts.

When practicing this module client was not comfortable with me putting my hands on her hips ,so I did it they way I would for the guys so she was ok with that . She found it of course really relaxing. While doing the hip and lower back stretch she experienced some good discomfort but was happy with it afterwards. She really liked the half back arch stretch. The transition to different areas went well.

As a massage therapist working the abdomen was one of my favorite parts and yes I did get some emotions from my clients at times on the table. That simple technique i learned during my table thai massage course I took and the circler motion I used to do om my clients but your was easier. the wave motion was different for me but I loved it and so did my client during this practice. The part that my client like the best was working the chest because of his job he does alot of caring boxes. He loved the elephant walking up the chest. The thumbs under the ribs not so much even though i used my whole body and was going light.i know some people can tender diaphrams but there was no sharp discomfort of any kind .

I love doing these shoulder techniques my client he expressed to me that he loved the shoulder lift and that it felt relaxing. The one sided shoulder lift went well he liked the circular motions with it. The shoulder row boat took me a little getting used to so that one I need to work on more with keeping the resistance on the arm and rowing, but he said he didnt notice to much during the session. the arm triangle shoulder stretch we could'nt do his wrist and arm wasn't that flexable but he did enjoy the arm swing back and forth and circular motion.

This was the easiest practice so far I had my client just sit in the chair next to a table when I did it. Let's see if I can get a paragraph out of this one. I had her put her arm on the table while working the three areas of the front and back of the arm. I applied a little lotion made it easier to slide off the hand. The hand massages were very similar to how I already massage them and the fingers that's just how I do them all of the time. She of course loves it, there's nothing like getting your hands massaged.

My client has some issues with arthrites in the shoulders and hips and back, so this felt really good to him. He really liked the double arm traction the standing one he said his shoulders felt a little looser just from that. As far as the spinal twist he discovered that was a new way of cracking his back ,because we could here popping in the process. It was alot easier to do then when I just massaged his back or trying to crack his back in the other ways he wanted me to do. He really liked that twist as well as the upper spinal twist ,yes there was some good pain at first but he was more relaxed afterwards. He was a little to big and heavy for me to the figuare 8 shoulder move though . The transitioning went well also, always working on those when not doing a client I used two pillows lined up to move around it and small ones to represent the be arms and legs.

Well, I chose my friend again of course for the summary because she tells me how my energy flow goes and my transitions, also because she is what you always called yogi-type, very flexible. She enjoyed the traction of the knee and hip joint and the stretching for the ankle and calf with her feet against my stomach.
She preferred the hip stretch with the knees together then apart just more comfortable for her as well as the hip rotations. she liked the sacrum massage, that was a first for her. She Loved the hip rocking and the shacking of the legs of course. The lower and upper back stretches went well we got one little pop out of it but she was already stretched out before she came over. I thought she was going to fall asleep on me with the abdomen techniques which I enjoy doing and can be relaxing when your client gains your trust.
The thumbs under the ribs not so much, I'll work on that more later. She did like the palm rotations on the side of the torso. Had to readjust my hands a little for elephant walking on the shoulders because she is pretty small-built Phillappino making sure my palms were not on the bones. She liked the figure eight on the shoulders like you said a lot easier on a smaller person along with maintaining your balance. We finished up with hands and feet which went nicely. You talked about the Quantum Touch, It sounds like Chi gong which is what I do before a session, to get my energy ready for sharing and healing.

My client I had before that had the hip and lower back issues is also a little flat footed and was in the Army for awhile jumping out of planes at one time ,so he defintely enjoyed the elbows on the feet. The table Thai massage course I did of course showed using the knees and I have used my fist as well at one time rocking into the pressure with whole body ,so using the elbows on the feet was new but I adjusted pretty good to it. The rocking of the legs went well. I know that when people have tender calve muscles that archilles tendon can be a little tender as well, so was asking him if he had any discomfort he said no it felt good. Elephant walking well he enjoyed it like last time while on his back.

I like how you reinterate things I used the meridian lines of the body when I would do hot stone therapy, so postioning of the legs and knees is needed. My client this time was small and petite so my elbow would take care two of those lines almost on the back of the legs, did not do any power techniques for her size you could assume more flexability but no. Yes its true when you relieve stress in one part of the body it helps to relax other areas and I've had experiences where some of my clients said they could sense my intentions or comfort in my touch and that helped them to relax a natural transferance of energy. When working the sides of her hip It felt like it went well ,making sure to avoid the bony areas. She was so easy to rock being her size but she liked it. My knees are funny I don't have as much flat area below the knee cap to want to work on the soft tissue areas of the leg or muscle , so I didn't do that technique. The squeezing and rolling of the calves I was familiar with and yes that went well ,The Table Thai Massage class I took had us squeeze and roll it the other way or opposite direction as well.
"I've had experiences where some of my clients said they could sense my intentions or comfort in my touch and that helped them to relax a natural transference of energy." - That's half the battle right there. Massage therapists who don't have this skill of transferring energy and putting people at ease either don't last long or are what I call 'massage mechanics'. Clearly you are not one of those.

So for this module I used my friend who is very yogi, I know she said she prefered the the double heel to the buttocks stretch over the single. She enjoyed the power stretch for that one, she had some good discomfort with it but said it was needed. I almost forgot to cross her feet for that stretch , she watched some of the video and reminded me lol. With the prone reverse leg lift i tried to reposition my feet to maintain my balance as I was lifting her leg and raised it with my arms a little she caught me said it felt a little different and she said she could feel me shifting myself. She just smiled. The flex squad stretch had to reposition my hand on the buttocks after seeing that it was still to close to the center, other then that the stretch went well. Its good to have humble days lol

My male client with some hip issues loved the circling with the palms on the sacrum, but when it came to the thumb rocking he had some discomfort on the outer edge of the sacrum of the sacrum then the center. The thumb wiggling on the edges felt better for him after minute or so. Percussion is something Im very familier with as a massage therapist usually two hands so I used two hands while doing his sacrum, he said it felt good. The rocking of the glutes and lower back went well of course. Using the knees on his glutes was new to me I have to still get used to that one, its going to definitly take me more practice with that one.

I didnt find this one as easy as I thought I would , incorperated some music to help me with the rythm of the movement while doing the back. Even though I was shown the other way of direct pressure I never used my whole body weight while doing it, but I found this way more relaxing for both myself and my client. I had to focus a little with keeping my arms a little lose during the process but was getting used to it. My client enjoyed all of it he said he found the palm circles a little more relaxing then the wiggles.

Working the back muscles is one of my favorite areas to work and always checked out each back with my fingers because everyone has different bone structure according to their size and built. The elbows I was good with knowing my pressure with on the back. My guy I was working on was used to recieving massage with the elbow, so those techniques went well he enjoyed it . Working with the knee was more of a challenge, because I only used them on the feet only in the past. The knee rocking went pretty good had to get used to feeling with with my knee, but I would start light asking him how it felt, so we discovered it along the way during the practice.
