Hi,
I just completed Module 1. I was really impressed with the Quality of the Video, also with the instruction from Shama. His explanation of proper breathing, and using bodyweight to compress the muscle instead of applying pressure with the muscles is a great way to introduce this fascinating art. I found myself wanting to use my muscles when practicing with my partner, "old habits die hard". I also appreciate his explanation of having Quality of Touch and proper ergonomics.
Being in a kneeling position is uncomfortable for me right now because I am so tight from doing Swedish and Deep Tissue massage and standing on my feet for long periods of time. I plan on stretching more to try to combat this.
Looking forward to Module 2.
Thanks so much,
Gavin

I am sure you will get used to the kneeling position. This is a pretty typical complaint in the beginning of the course, but I cannot remember one case where the practitioners didn't get used to it after a while.
