Module 1

Practiced this technique with the model on the floor. I found it much easier as I could get my body-weight behind it. Within minutes, the client was in a state of sleep and relaxation. This technique required little effort from me and it had the full effect on the client.

Whilst working up the Sen lines of the feet, I found the tissue became softer. Really pleased.

Hi Gail, welcome to the Thai Foot Massage certification program. Please take a moment and read our certification tutorial and watch the video in there.  A couple of things are not quite set up right, like the topic title and the module numbers:

Certification Tutorial

Here is a short version, a check list of the main points:

Certification Check List

I already fixed the topic title for you and added the module number to your post to help you out. 🙂

It sounds like you had a good start with the first module – glad to hear that.

Hi Shama

Thank you very much for pointing that out. I will ensure they are added in future 🙂

It’s amazing how this simple foot technique can place people into a deep relaxation so quickly. I have now practiced this technique on three further clients and they say the effects are great. The tissue becomes very soft enabling me to work a little deeper with the pressures.

You will see – when you get through the entire course, you will be able to do amazing foot work and hopefully attract lots of clients to this! Smile

Module 2

Practiced these techniques several times…..got a little confused with placing the foot on my thighs but worked it out and the client was comfortable. Found it easier to have my legs crossed to stop the foot from sliding away.

Surprised at how easy the knuckle work was and glad to save my thumbs. Found the forearm technique awkward but I think I go it right eventually! More practice…..

Put Modules 1 & 2 together. Flowed nicely but sticky with the forearm.

These are clearly some new and different ways to work on the feet. It might take a little while to get used to it, but in the end you can do powerful, effective and enjoyable work without wearing out your hands. Keep practicing with your forearms, and soon enough you will wonder how you could have ever done without them! The knuckles will be your main tool once you get to the reflexology section of this course.

Module 2

Still working on the techniques for this module and it really is coming together nicely. I have put together the technique from module 1 and it flows really well. People become very sleepy very quickly and I’m finding that it helps people to sleep better.

Module 3

Have included the technique at the beginning of this module and also worked up the legs with it. Really effective. People love it!

Need plenty of practice for the others! Watched it a few times now to just try and remember the sequence….Practice, practice!

The sequence is like riding a bicycle – once you know it, you can’t forget it anymore. It just takes a while to get to this point. However the very next module will help you put it more into perspective – you will see.
