Module 29

“Sitting on the inner thigh” move was enjoyed by my massage partner. Finding the sweet spot was pretty easy thanks to your guidance. I will have to try it out on a few other people before I feel confident with that move though.

Therapists are often afraid of this move, but in general clients really enjoy it. It is a powerful and unusual experience. It's also great for working on big muscles without needing any effort.

Module 30

The “hip flexor, quadriceps and lower back stretch” technique is a very interesting move perform. Setting up for the move and finding a good grip while maintaining my knee position took a bit of effort to accomplish. My massage partner used a scale from 1 to 10 to say how much she liked this one you demonstrated…definite 10.

Module 31

Wow, lots of shoulder moves to practice here. The detail that you put into each move is greatly appreciated as these are some pretty intricate techniques. Due to the fact that my massage partner loves trapezius work done, I’m sure that I will become proficient with these moves quickly.

That's great that your massage partner gave it a 10 on the LIKE scale.

There are more intricate shoulder techniques coming up in the next module, so you will have an excellent repertoire.

Module 32

Again, the detail you put into each move (and there is a lot of them) is appreciated. There was a feeling of deep relaxation that my massage partner felt after the practice session. You were right when you said that these moves will help increase the range of motion in the shoulders. Before the session she tried a few different stretches and we paid attention to how far the stretch could be taken. After the session there was definitely a difference in not only in how it felt, but the range as well. This has been found to be true with pretty much all of the moves you have shown in this course.

Module 33

Supporting the back with the knee is a great idea. I have had massages done in this position and have found myself having to find my balance to counteract the pressure of the massage being given. This method helps to remedy this issue. Interlocking the fingers to massage the neck is yet another great way you have shown to save the thumbs and provide a great massage efficiently.

Module 34

I can really get a good amount of pressure on the trapezius with the positions shown here. They were all greatly appreciated by my massage partner. The shoulder stretch where grabbing her hand and pulling it back while anchored on her shoulder with my elbow was one that stood out;  what a simple yet effective move.

It sounds like you are getting into the flow with the techniques. Once you start really appreciating and enjoying them, it feels much easier and enjoyable. You are getting there!

Congratulations for completing the certification program. As you know, there are many more modules in the Complete Thai Massage course which take you even deeper into the art of Thai Massage.
