Module 1 Introduction
Hi! I am a massage therapist from the United States. I live in Boise Idaho and I have been doing massage for 7 years. I have had a little bit of Thai massage training by doing my own self-study from various CEUs, but I am excited to be doing the complete course! I hope to be able to share some good experiences with all of you!
Warmly, Deneige (Dee)

Thank You, Shama,
Module 2 Overview
I have used some of the techniques on the table but I agree that the floor works best and gives the most access to the client. The terminology has never been the most important part of giving massage as well. I know this from giving informal massages and receiving them before I ever took an anatomy class or became licensed as a therapist. My friends and family would beg for me to put my hands on them, and I believe it is because they felt safe and cared for. This is truly the most important component of massage. Healing can only take place if the energy is right. I am looking forward to more wisdom.
Your story is similar to mine. My friends used to ask me to put my hands on them long before I ever became a massage therapist or had any official papers. It just shows that papers and documents don't necessarily make one a good therapist. Healing hands are not limited or created by rules and licenses.
