Body Mastery for Massage #1
Watched this video on techniques for the hands. It was a nice review of the techniques, including some new ones. But all of it was very in depth. Especially knowing more techniques to use than just fingers and wrists, since mine have taken a beating over the years on the farm.
That's a recurring theme I hear from therapists - over time their hands and fingers get stressed, sometimes in combination with other activities like the farm in your case. I know therapists who dunk their hands and arms up to their elbows into a bucket of ice water every evening. While that may help, it just shouldn't be necessary to have to go to such extreme measures just to keep our hands functioning. In Thai Massage this is just not necessary since it is a much more "body friendly" modality for therapists.
