Module 1 summary notes. I learned some thumb saving hints in this first video for trying to align the webbing "V" against the foot while including it on a table massage this week. This evening I practiced the floor technique on my son's size 12 foot. I noticed I needed to scoot back to get more rocking leverage. He thought it was relaxing. He then requested more pressure. I was able to increase the pressure by using my elbows against my legs. It reminds me of crow pose in yoga.
Hi Danya, welcome to the Thai Foot Massage certification program. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our certification checklist to make sure that it is all correctly organized:
I already fixed the topic title by including your name so that your thread can be found in the forum.
Module 2- First off at home I practiced on my son who is very tall. I couldn't reach with my knee on his thigh while he was in the tree pose so I used the pillow. Later on a client during Thai massage who was smaller I could use my knee as a bolster. The subtle rocking and wringing of the foot single handed and dually has a lulling affect on the client. Another client when I asked for feedback said it felt like a good electricity . I was asked if I was using a tool when doing my "knuckle swords". I incorporated the module 2 lessons into my table massage as well. It works better when I'm not using oil.
