Module 1
This is my attempt at restarting this course. I'm really excited to be back. I've worked through the first few modules before, but I thought it would be best to restart them and look at them with fresh eyes instead of trying to jump in where I left off a few years ago.
I'm definitely excited to transition to being on a mat instead of using a table for massage. I'm excited for the possibility of movement on a mat having been confined to my massage table for so long.
I am already considering ways though that I can even apply the information from this first module to my current massage practice. I feel like I don't often consider my breath as I'm moving through different techniques. I am usually breathing slowly and deeply, but I'd be interested to see what it would be like for me to use it more consciously during my sessions with my clients this weekend.
I took a few minutes to practice the different body positions just to see how they feel for me. My toes have always been problematic and maybe moreso since I have taken up climbing and have been squeezing my feet into climbing shoes for a few years now. I'll definitely be practicing the full kneeling position with regularity.
Hi Brittany, welcome back! I am glad to see that you got your second wind with this course.
As a refresher/reminder, please take a moment and familiarize yourself with our certification checklist to make sure that it is all correctly organized:

Module 2
I practiced Chi machine on my daughter. I think because this is a technique that I had practiced before that it came back to me pretty easily even though it has been some time. I actually positioned my hands on her feet/ankles incorrectly at first and she complained about it making her ankles kind of hurt and I went back and watched the video again and made the adjustment and it was much better.
