Module 1
I watched all of the modules 1 time already. Today, I am watching them over and practicing on a partner. I practiced on my partner using my body weight and not using body weight. My partner stated that the massage felt better when I used my body weight. I like the reminders about clothing and to be careful that you're not tickling your client with your clothing. My partner said the movement felt good and felt like a wave. I also appreciated the reminder regarding the breathing. I am looking forward to practicing module 2.

Module 2
My partner has asthma so I was looking forward to using some of the movements on him to practice. He fell asleep when I did the sternum work. Some of the things that I learned that will stick with me are that pressure always bad and body weight always feels good and that the movements have to come from the whole body. Great reminder again to always be present in your mind. Since it is cold and flu season it was nice to be able to work on his thymus gland. I like these movements and how they work with the breath.

Module 3
I have been a Massage Therapist since 2009, I have never really used any of these moves before. I am so excited to have some more "tools" in my ever-growing tool bag. My partner loved the stretch and I found some tissue in his arm area that is tight, and I am looking forward to helping him release the tightness(so is he).

Module 4
I have never been comfortable working on the neck and I know this is an area that so many people have trouble with. People really enjoy neck work and now they will enjoy my neck work! This module and practice are really going to help me. My partner said he felt like I was stretching his neck. He liked the neck work and he can't wait until I practice module 5.
That's good feedback from your partner. In this course you will learn tons of neck work. But don't put yourself under pressure by trying to do everything perfectly. It is okay to first focus on techniques that you like and that come easily to you. You can always add the more difficult ones later. You can warm up to it gradually.
