Once you find the right rhythm, you can make all the back techniques feel good. Even if they are not all perfect yet, it seems that you are making good progress with them! Smile

Module 25

knee technique is one of my favorite when I have to work for clients whom really work on lower back but most times I use both knees in the same time. About elbow technique I don't use both elbows in the same time , always use one elbow this technique is very good for lower back like you said. I practiced elbows in the groove on my partner . Yes, he likes 2 elbows more than one ?

I really like elbows and knees. You can get a lot done with them without straining yourself. The only thing is that therapists who have never used especially the knees, will have to develop sensitivity in them.

Module 26

Back in the day ( too many years ago) I was band new Thai massage therapist and the first Thai massage place in CA the owner she wanted all her massage therapists do original Thai massage I was using my thumbs went work on clients back and shoulder and just 6 months I stopped use it and use my forearms instead .

I practiced with my partner and use my forearms on his back the first line and the second line and leaning into scapula, he said it was feel very good when I leaned into his scapula:).

I really can't understand why a massage shop owner would insists that the therapists use their thumbs more than necessary. That's the best way to lose therapists because it is so easy to burn out your thumbs. Especially if you work on those big Americans.

I love shoulder work and love to learn all your techniques . I practiced all the techniques and my partner likes technique rotate shoulder back while leaning on trapezius and circling because really felt good when leaning on  trapezius.

I did arm circling with shoulder stretch I moved his arm first 180ํand pull back a little bit on his shoulder he said felt good then second 180ํand push shoulder I practiced too many times just second 180ํ until I got comfortable.

Module 32

I practiced all techniques and my partner 's favorite technique is swing arm back behind the head while pushing the shoulder forward it was my first time to work with this technique and I have to be  careful and slow . He felt stretch on his arm and felt good when I was pushing his shoulder.

All the techniques is very good specially when I was thumbing around scapula , life, pull and rolling. I wish someone  practice on my shoulder and scapula all day:)

Haha, I know that feeling. The truth is that nobody ever did those techniques on me since most of them are not really part of standard Thai Massage. I created them and have taught them to lots of people, but can never receive them myself. Frown
