Module 3

I think I got a right place now . foot massage 1 today learn more technique and some I always work for my client and some new for me , like this one  push-pull rotate technique for foot and leg when I did this with my partner he likes it 3 thing in the same time push twist pull , so still need more practice :) and I  am doing foot  bending and twisting all to time for a client but I never do circle while I doing it , so will add on it and more and more practice until I get used to it.

Yes, now you are in the right forum. Smile All that’s missing is that you clearly label the course module so that everyone can easily follow what exactly you are talking about. I added this for you with this module.

I agree with you – nobody can say no to a good foot massage. They are addictive. I get more foot massage than full body massage in Thailand.

Module 5

I did butterfly technique on quadriceps  my feet lock my partner leg and I bend in his feet down to the floor he felt  a little  stretch in his calf  maybe he has a tight calf .

Upper and lower leg out at 90 degree angle . I squeeze, pull and roll up with my fingers on the calf muscle that feel good but when I moved to a thigh kinda hurt him .

Thanks! for always remind “USE YOUR BODY WEIGHT”  sometime when I work I didn’t use my body weight  , that why my arms, back and shoulders are in pain 🙁

That’s exactly true! If you don’t use your body weight and don’t use good ergonomics, you will really hurt yourself in massage therapy, and especially in Thai Massage where you move the body of your client around so much.

And on top of that, without using your body correctly you will hurt your clients as well. Or at least it won’t feel as good as when you are using proper body mechanics.

Module 6

I start with line#1 close to groin and move to line #2 and 3 that my partner said feel good but I have to control my pressure when I work close to groin I hurt my partner too many time and I am trying to work slowly (counting is help me when work 1….. 2…… 3….. that is slow me down) .

when move leg to line#3 my partner foot in my groin , so effect to his hip flexor and feel good in his lower back and outside line#2 this is a good one for a  IT band but my partner has a bigger thighs I could not push much pressure on this one.

Actually it is much more difficult to learn how to work gently than to work strongly. To work lightly you have to be sensitive and really develop feeling in your body. Anybody can press strongly, but it is better to practice working very gently and making that feel good. When you are good at working gently, it is easy to increase pressure whenever necessary.

Module7

I’m trying to work more gently and  when I work I was including some techniques that I learned from you and I can practice in the same time.

About leg stretch 90 degree I’m doing all the time when I work a Thai massage session but I have to practice more about put the leg up squeeze and pull back , so I’m learned more other techniques to stretch the hip.

Hi,

I have a question . I’m taking complete Thai massage and I am looking to other courses like Thai hip therapy and Thai back massage , I am wondering both of them are not including in complete Thai massage and you add more techniques specifically for Thai hip therapy and Thai back massage course.

Thanks!!

The Complete Thai Massage course is the foundation for all the other courses and it does contain a good amount of hip and back work. However the Thai Hip Therapy and the Thai Back Massage course go a lot further and are much more specific. They are meant for therapists who want to be able to do serious therapy work.

With Complete Thai Massage you can do an excellent whole body Thai Massage sessions, and with the other courses you learn how to focus on specific areas in great depth. Or you could say they are taking you from being a Thai Massage generalist to being a Thai Massage therapy specialist.

It’s like with a doctor, there are general practitioners, and then there are specialists. It just depends on how far you want to go with it.

Module 8

I like the module 8 too many good techniques for hip and gastrocnemius with 3 techniques for gastrocnemius, my partner he has a tight calf all techniques are work good for gastrocnemius , by using fingertip pulling gastrocnemius I press more pressure in the middle of gastrocnemius before pulling the muscle that my partner said feel very good .

It is a good technique for loosen up the hip by rocking the leg sideways .I never do this technique before the technique by doing circles with leg I’m not comfortable with this one yet

If you have enough time to practice another course, sure, you can definitely take another course. And even if you run out of time, the course will always be there for you, and so will I! Smile

Technique for adductors I put my partner foot in my groin and move out side he has  kindda stiff I was just bouncing his legs it was good to work this way made it easy on me and he was enjoy and relax.

Hip Pie 90 degree I did stretch and work elephant walking 12312 on his leg he has thigh muscle I can’t put his leg down too much then move to 135 degree this one I can’t do it on him but I tried to do rotate leg for him instead.

Module 10

I am short and my partner is tall and big this one is really good technique . He is not flexible when I did hip pie 270 degree I put his leg in my groin and move the leg forward that a little bit too much for him and I used my hand to work on IT band in the same time then move to sideway this one is good .

You can’t do the entire hip pie on everyone. Some people can’t handle some of those stretches. It is important to know all the techniques, but it is even more important to learn through experience how far you can go and what works on whom and what doesn’t.

Module 11

This module is good routine for work on legs, I barely work o knee , I practice with my partner , bent his knee then use my palm above the knee and press together ,then rocking the knee then work below the knee until ankle , he said feel good when I rocking his knee and I put my fingers on his calf and pull, then I did spinal twist for him and his leg already opposite side across his body I stretch his leg up in front my knee , this one is the strongest and my partner loves it , he said feel stretches muscles of the legs , hips and spine . This is a good one I will try to do for my clients sometime I  work at the spa not my studio I always work on the table , so I think I can do it but not feel comfort like working on the floor . I think you should another course ” Thai massage on the table” Wink
