module 2

i have been practicing the basics  for last 3 months with the lead massage therapist at work i focused mostly on body mechanics and trying to enjoy the process  , the most important  i started enjoying it , my positions are improving but still need to work on time management and controlling my body because i m over 230 lb using my body weight fully sometimes is over whelming  to my partners .about rocking ,i got good feedbacks that i have good retime also i am observing my partner body movement especially the hip  and the head , the only challenge  i had is when one of my feels like it was resisting .

I am glad you are enjoying the course. You are right, at your weight you have to be careful with applying body weight. But still, it is important to practice using your body weight gently because if you don't, you will develop the bad habit of working only with muscles. 

You will always have clients that resist what you are doing unconsciously. This is our challenge as Thai Massage therapists - to find ways to overcome this resistance and help the clients to let go. That just takes practice and sensitivity which I am sure you will develop over time. Smile

Ayoub lambarki : module 3

i tried those moves on a friend that have plantar fasciitis, her feedback that her feet felt better and less painful as usual , also I tried some moves on my massage treatments on the table in the spa where I work , I lowered the table enough to use my body weight clients loved the circular move when press the thumbs on the bottom of the foot while shifting to body weight from a foot to the other.also they let like calf stretche by pressing the bottom of the foot under the toes and leaning forward using the palm of my hand.The thing I need to work on the most is smoothing my transitioning from move to another .Smile

I have tried most of the techniques on the table, knowing foot action helps a lot to work smoothly and not over thinking move but action of the muscle , the client loved it they say is different in a good way, but I had to skip some moves that have a lot of body contact because the client still naked under linen .overall I feel good about understanding the concept !!!

That's true, if you are working on the table with a naked client, you will have to skip some techniques. So I guess you are including your new Thai Massage moves with your table work. Whenever possible, it would be good to try to get a client to be on the table with their clothes on. That would make it easier. But I understand what you are doing in the beginning. Smile

AYOUB LAMBARKI module 5

I tried the moves on a friend of mine on the floor. She enjoyed the whole sequence. I felt that I can control my body better especially in the butterfly move 'on quads', however I had a problem blocking her foot because my feet are not flexible enough, adductors  comparisons were the receiver favorite moves.

Try to re-watch the video to see how I do the foot block. You don't really need very flexible feet to do that.

i tried this techniques on a coworker that she is been doing thai massage for over 20 years , she loved every move . however i was so careful when i was working on the adductors especially she is very skinny . but i need to work more on my pressure control . also i added few moves from this class to my regular massage sequence like warming up the body over the cheat using rolling forearm on the back , gluts , quads, hamstring  and calfs .

i have tried some of  this moves in both the mat and the table , the receivers loved the psoas stretch with rocking movement figure four adductor compression and pull and push the hamstring   , my transitioning from leg to the other still not fluid as i wanted it  whoever with more  practice i well get better Smile

The transitioning can be more difficult than the techniques. It might take some time to develop the fluidity, but it will come with time and practice.

 i had 100 minutes of thai massage treatment to day, i used the concept of kinesiology when i felt i run out of the the moves , my timing was ok also my client was super small possibly 5f i am 6,4f i tried to do more compression and rocking witch she liked  more .

module 9 ayoub lambarki  

i had knee injury so i stoped doing thai massage for a while now i back to practice .

i tried some of the moves hamstring  with rocking starching  were my wife favorite moves also i used pie concept for variation   using her sholder elbow and wrest as land mark . i did also 180 degrees but she  feels more pressure on her lower back i am assuming she has thighs gluts . the spinal twist she enjoyed it when i placed my hand under her spine for extra support  however when i tried to pin her shoulder with my right hand she field extra stretch combined with discomfort so i sticked with the first move .

module 10  ayoub lambarki  

i practiced briefly some new moves on my partner , spinal twist with supporting the shoulder i did not use my leg on her leg i am very tall 6.3 but is good move to know in case i work on someone a lot taller then me . the varieties of  270 degree hip pie felt nice and smooth. the 90 degrees adductors stretch wasn't comfortable   for me i am not flexible my wife is hyper mobile i cant go so far . calf stretch was good and she liked it .

module 11  ayoub lambarki  

i practiced fall sequence  my movement were slow and study , body mechanic was good , not rushing what so ever , communication and reading body language was very important  as much as the  techniques . remembering  the moves   was little hard but but practice will lead to profection 

the full sequence took about 5o minut

I imagine that you can see how a full Thai Massage session is typically longer than table/oil massage sessions. It took you 50 minutes for just the first section of the course. Smile
