It will be a good journey with the full Thai Massage course. You are in a great situation, since your entire life now evolves around your new massage center and the practice and the teaching of Thai Massage.

Good night, neighbor, from Chiang Mai, Thailand. Well, not exactly a neighbor, but it feels like that compared to my usual communication with students from the other side of the planet.

Chi, Foot 1 and 2

Hello everyone, it was only yesterday that I posted about the mini series, well I was a little late getting to the forum that is why, tonight I want to bring you to the study of the first three modules of this great course, after viewing these video and practicing the moves for three sessions and doing everything in a NON MECHANICAL WAY, having the right mind set and attitude and of course the right body positioning, the rhythm of breathing in and out that I find very important, the one thing that keeps you in harmony with the partner or client, I must say that today I have impress myself with my degree of application, enough to get very high passing marks from my Thai Instructor wife Saithong, she was the one on the receiving end today, just begging for more,Ha ha, with my years of practicing massage and knowing that I was gifted with great healing hands, applying Shama’s techniques with some moves of my own, plus some Thai massage moves, the foot massage techniques are just the best you are going to find, working the foot in eight different direction is just wild, I must say that today was a really fun and enjoyable massage day, six hrs of learning and practicing gives me great satisfaction,

I also learned something very important today, I will not tell you where, but it is that by looking at the feet of a person in a supine position you can identify the tightness in their hips, now talk about an opening conversation WOW more in two days about foot warm-up, goodnight AndreCool

You are in there with ‘guns blazing’, and you immediately caught on to the essential elements aside from the technical aspects of the massage. Sounds like a good start to me. But then you are not exactly a massage ‘newbie’. Smile

Good morning everyone, yes already two weeks have gone by since my last post, with the opening of our Samui Massage Center next week, studying and practicing, just a little busy, well I am very excited about my learning. I have viewed and reviewed videos every day since my last posting, and I have been practicing on my partner Saithong.

Now have some of her friends enjoying the warm-up  session of video 5 and 6 and leg stretches 7-8-9, these are 5* hotel therapist that I’m working on, to say the least they are most impressed and they want to learn, they understand the importance of the touch, the awareness needed, synchronized breathing, the use of the body in all movements, the body positioning and of course the ergonomics.  It is very good to work on people that understand what you are talking about. These people are so much in need of treatment, their own body needs a lot of adjustment.

I explain to them the importance of being in full harmony with themselves to perform at 100%, that for the energy to flow into the client that they are working on they need to be balanced. When I call them little robots they sure get a good laugh, but they admit that at the resort, it is all about $$$$$$. They understand that it is impossible to achieve great results in a 1 hr massage session, so they will become ambassadors to Samui Massage Center.

Shama thank you so much for taking the time to answer all my ???

Cool

Sounds like you are encountering the Thai Massage one-size-fits-all crowd who know the mechanics but not much more – unfortunately a not very uncommon scenario. Now you can provide the heart and soul and the subtleties of this art, which is a much better place to be.

Good evening everyone, hard to believe that four weeks have gone by since my last post, so much as happened during that period, of course we have been practicing and learning Banana and I, we have opened our Samui Massage Center, we have chosen the Friends and Lover video series for our one day course, we feel that we can teach a great intro to Thai Healing Massage with this course, we have been working on hip and shoulder techniques in the past weeks, we are mixing things up a little, we find it most interesting this way, again we are most definitively using our touch, energy and body to get to the healing process, like Shama said, without the touch you can’t go into the healing, the techniques will come with practice, happy to say that we are excited about what we are going to be able to share with our future and existing clients, we are slowly incorporating the Thai Healing Massage techniques with the Thai Traditional Massage and we are having great success and feed back, for those who have experienced pain from a past Thai massage, the Thai Healing Massage is a blessing to them, anyway I will return to my leanings and talk to you all soon, this is shoulder week, Ciao Coco

I almost forgot to share this experience with you, I was in KL for a few days, and if you have been there before you know how aggressive they can be in trying to get the males into one of those massage rooms, well after walking for hours I decided to give into a street foot massage yesterday afternoon, what a total nightmare this was, there was an older couple two chairs down from me and the three masseuse never stopped chatting and talking during the whole session, I had to request less pressure on two occasions, never again, I will massage my own feet like I usually do when I’m traveling, this one is to go along with your stories Shama, CocoYell

Sounds like things are happening for you in Samui, both with your new school and the massage practice. You should end up having quite a unique school, I think.

I have been in KL, and I had the Chinese ladies try to drag me into their shops, even following me around in the mall – amazing. I also got myself a massage from one of them, and it was of the really vigorous type without much feeling, not so much my cup of tea. So I can relate to your experience.

Good morning everyone, another three weeks have gone by, and yes I’m getting more and more excited everyday about my Thai Massage Healing course. It seems that Shama knows how to build excitement in his teaching, I just keep wanting more. After watching the last four videos Banana and I are convinced that the techniques here will be most beneficial in dealing with some of the large and hard bodies here on Samui, since many people come here for training in boxing. We have been practicing these moves using elbows and knees – amazing how little effort it takes to apply great deep compression. I really like the sacrum video, just like Shama was saying, in traditional Thai massage we only apply some pressure to the 5 points at the bottom of the spine, we do not work the sacrum, but from now on it will be. I really like the foot and elbow technique and the forearm hamstring combination, working the back, center and side, great move, thank you Shama.

I have a little story for you today, our last graduate Esther, who just completed a 30 hour foot reflexology course, sent us a facebook message from Koh Tao where she his spending the week before going to Chiang Mai to continue her learning. She performed her first massage at the beach and made 350 Baht, she was so excited and she had a very satisfied guest. We know she will do well in her new career, way to go Esther! We are up-to-date and putting together our Shama video teaching, we are selecting techniques that we enjoy most and creating a two our massage that we will be offering. With the Friends and Family videos we have put together a two day course, our brochure is going to print this week and our website will be completed soon after. I’m off to KL next week for another visa trip, I’m visualizing a one year visa in my brand new passport, I need everyone’s energy to be with me on April 17, in the morning in Kl, thank you and enjoy your learning’s and keep practicing. It is amazing how it feels when you do it right, Ciao for now, Coco in SamuiCool

Jang and I just left Ko Lanta and spent a couple of days in Trang where I stumbled over so many obstacles on the sidewalks that I wrote an article about it.

Looks like Banana got a good start with her teaching. I wish you lots of success with your center.

Hello everyone and a great welcome back to your home Shama, I’m sure that you are very pleased to be back into your own space, I just had to come back and post after spending the last nine days doing some 30+ hours of reviewing, practicing and planning our Thai Healing Massage Courses, we have decided to offer a 2 day course, 10 hours of teaching the Family, Friend and Lovers video, we are now working on the first three days of our four day 20 hour course, by reviewing the three summaries that we have and going over the 33 videos received we are very excited about offering this four day course here at Samui Massage Center in a very near future, I’m convinced that the next summary will bring the missing links, I would like to say thank you to all who have taken the time to read my post, I know that we are all very busy people, if at all possible maybe we could exchange our Skype name and take time to meet for a few minutes, if not, exchange website info and link to one another, this can only help our rating with the search engines, my Skype name MrBaja, so let us connect and build a great network of passionate dedicated massage practitioners World-wide, looking forward to meeting you live soon, Coco

I am glad to be back because now I can do video work again which was not possible when I was traveling. I already started on a new back massage course which will keep me busy for a few weeks at least. I will also do a video about sharing website links amongst all subscribers and students.

Good afternoon from Thailand, very busy two weeks here with Thai healing massage, we are coming to the end of our course and it seems that we are studying more and more, we are very excited about completing this great course, thank you Shama, you just keep on giving us so much to work with, this past week with the BONUS modules was really special, it really makes you understand the full spectrum of what Thai Healing massage will bring you if you apply yourself to the teachings, discovering the Magic Touch within you and how you can share it, is priceless. We did a lot of practicing on the side position this week, and picking out some great moves for our courses, so much to work with, it makes creating a great course exciting, so many techniques to chose from, at times you would like to use them all, then you realize that you will be giving a 5 hour massage, have you ever received a 5 hour massage, I have and being a crash test dummy was a great experience to say the least, I would do it again, to all the new students I would like to say keep on learning and practice your techniques, you can always find a crash test dummy, have a great week everyone, and remember that after completion and certification you can still come back here and post a little something about what is going on with your career and let others know, remember we are all in it to help others gain their health back through The Thai Healing Process, Coco

I have to admit, I have never received a 5 hour massage, Coco, I think 3 hours was the max. I have given many 3 hour sessions. When you are inspired and in flow, it doesn’t seem so long at all.

It sounds like you are building up a good repertoire of courses in your school. I hope you will have the best school in Samui!

Good morning everyone, just a quick stop to say hi and to wish a very happy 4th of July to all in America, here on Samui things are very slow at the present, it is our low season, the visitors are not here yet, so we have lots of time to review our Thai healing massage courses, we try to do so everyday, we find it nourishing and we keep our mind in focus, it is very easy to drift when you are not busy, keep learning and practicing, if you have not completed your course yet, I must say that this is by far the best online massage teaching available, Shama you bring us the best techniques to work with, at all levels, again thank you Shama Cool
