Hello Im Amber,
Im excited to get started on learning thai massage. Im currently a tradition massage therapist and my body is TIRED. Im also a single mom and am going to school to become a nurse. I can't wait to switch to a modality that is more friendly on my body and does not involve a massage table (unless I want it to). I have some experience with thai massage and ive loved it. I will most likely be progressing a little more slowly through the course because I have many other things going on but I have the advantage of being able to incorporate what I learn into my current work schedule so I wont have to find too much extra time.
Hi Amber, welcome to our community. You picked a good reason for learning Thai Massage. If done correctly, it is definitely easier on your body. Working on a floor mat gets you off your feet and allows you to use your body weight in a more effective way. Additionally Thai Massage allows you to use more body parts and reduce dependence on your hands.
Take your time with the course. You can work at your own pace. Whenever you need assistance, it's just a mouse click away!
