Hello Shama,

Hello everybody,

I am Tifanny and I just ordered the complete Thai Massage Course.

I am a young full time mom (1 boy 17 months and one girl 5 months) so I will learn at a slow paste. But with your support I am going to do this !! 😀

Joyful and conscious learning time to you all.

Ti

Hi Tiffany, welcome to our forum. I am also in a hot and rainy place here in Chiang Mai, Thailand! Smile

We are happy when it is cloudy  and raining, because if it is sunny, the heat can be quite oppressive.

This course is perfect for someone in your situation. Actually we have many students here in the forum who are in a very similar situation - moms with young children who cannot go gallivanting around the world to live courses.

It doesn't matter how long it takes you - you own the course for life and can always refer back to it. And I will be around to support you! Smile

I read somewhere that you are in Martinique, is that right? And I am really curious where your last name comes from?

Hi Shama,

yes I am happy, too when it rains. It reminds me of my home city, rainy Kölle 😉

You remember right I am currently living in Martinique, I am a french citizen so it is easy for me to set up here.

My mother is vietnamese and my father is half french, half vietnamese. But the name TRAT is actually of  chinese origin. The name QUAN is very Vietnamese, it's a part of my father's first name. My Grandmother didn't understand how Vietnamese names works and when she declared his name when he was born she made a mistake. The last name should only be TRAT, "Quan" is a first name.

Maybe you have been to Vietnam already? I have been living there for three years. When I stayed there I also visited Thailand - more specifically Chiang Mai, but at that time I wasn't into Thai Massage, more into Thai Boxing, so I went to some boxing school to exercise the whole day, it was really tough 😀

I love your videos. It is so important that you point out that technique is "just" a part of a whole healing art. I am a professional massage therapist, I did study in Köln (Med. Masseur) and they don't teach about ergonomics or the right mental attitude, that's very sad.

So glad to came across your massage academy.

LG

I thought "Quan" sounded Vietnamese. I have spent quite some time in Vietnam. I like to escape to Dalat. a pretty mountain town at 1500 meters elevation to escape the brutal heat and pollution in Chiang Mai during March, April and May.

I am glad you like my material. Unlike many massage schools I include the entire spectrum of healing arts including techniques, ergonomics, attitude, intuition, sensitivity, and developing a wonderful touch.
