Hi,

I´m Sharon, from Peru.  I studied Thai massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and now run a Thai massage salon in Lima, Peru.  I also recently started to teach Hatha Yoga classes.
I look forward to continue to learn and keep improving my sessions and I came across some nice things on this website. Thanks!

Sharon

Hi Sharon, I read that you opened the first and only Thai Massage salon in Peru. So you are a real pioneer. I wonder how the people there take to Thai Massage. What kind of massage is generally offered in Peru? Is massage fairly common in Peru?

Are you from Peru or did you move there from another country?

I am quite curious about these things since I was planning to spend some time in South America in the near future.

Hi!

Well, massage in Peru isn´t really that popular.  You can find mostly Swedish massage but still people aren´t getting massages so often, it´s not really part of the culture. But of course interested people come :) I´m Peruvian so luckily I know how it works.

I don´t know how it is in the rest of South America, but for sure in some other countries, like Brazil,  massage will be much more popular.
