Hi. My name is Susan and I live in the midstate of South Carolina. I got my license as a massage therapist in 2011 but have never practiced. When the economy got so bad here, I was laid off from my job. I had 3 family members die from cancer within about 6 months, so I went to massage therapy school for oncology massage. However, when I graduated, I found out that oncology massage was not accepted in this area. I needed to work and got a job as a Finance Manager. I have taken many classes including oncology massage, craniosacral therapy, lymph drainage, Reiki, watsu and others - searching for what I really want to do and also for the CEUs to keep my license. I have signed up for the Heavenly Head Massage course and am looking forward to using this because I believe it might be good for my 2 friends who have cancer now and others as well.
Hi Susan, welcome to our forum. That's quite a story there. Life has been throwing you some curve balls. I can tell you from my experience that Heavenly Head Massage is a beautiful and healing system which has a wonderfully calming, soothing, relaxing and healing effect not only on the receiver, but also on the giver.
Heavenly Head Massage has always been like a meditation for me when I practice it. I have seen many amazing results from it and I know for sure that I have improved the lives of many many people with this work - I don't know for how long, but any time we are able to add to the positive side of someone's life scale, it is a worthwhile accomplishment, no matter if it was for just one hour or if it changed someone's life.
