Thank you and I am glad to be here. I am living and working as LMT in Eugene Oregon. I took a number of Thai Classes but the problem is what I don't do daily, I tend to forget.
I have not a floor person yet and tend to stick with the table in my massage sanctuary. Hence, taking up the 3 month course will be helping my resolve to learn more.
I am interesting in healing methods of all cultures really and studied Ayurveda before. Anyway, wishing you all the best who are here,
Hi Karin, welcome to our community. I will stick with Karin instead of Jiiva for the following reason: Your certification registration is in the name of Karin. Since this is a huge forum with over 13000 posts, we have to be able to match the certification registrations with the forum threads. If they are under different names it can create confusion and extra work to find someone.
I will also change your forum display name for the same reason.
Sometimes I get requests from someone who years ago bought a course, and they started the certification process but never completed it. Now they want to continue and ask me how to do this. Their registration is in the name of Jane Doe, for example, and their forum name is hippychick327, for example. Imagine trying to find her...
Taking a live class and then forgetting a lot of it because of not practicing it regularly is a common issue. I see this here in Thailand all the time where people take a Thai Massage class somewhere, and then they keep on traveling around for a while. By the time they get back home they can't remember half of what they had learned and there is no way to get it back. That's where this online course shines, because you can always go back to it and review it.
