Hello! I am a taking the full Thai Massage course. I have been working with my partner, who is already on lesson 16 in the Thai Massage course and we have been learning together. Soooo, I decided to sign up to get certification as well! My partner, Greg Belcher and I plan on partnering our practice when we have completed our certification.
Even though I am new to the forum, I have spent quite a bit of time studying the coursework and practicing and I can tell you that we are very much enjoying the class.
The pace and the length of each course module is perfect! At first it seemed like it might be too slow and the modules to short, but once you get going it turns out it is just about perfect.
I have learned so much. I really look forward to completing this course and providing this service to others.
Thanks Shama for helping me get through the registration process so that Greg and I can continue to work together and motivate each other!
Oh by the way - I know you have been mentioning cold temps in Thailand right now. I feel for you because I know the residents are not used to cold temperatures, but today in Kansas City it was 0 degrees (zero). This is not totally unheard of in the midwest, but it is rare that we get this kind of weather as often as we have already this year. I think the best thing to do when it is a cold winter night is stay inside and DO YOUR THAI VIDEO COURSES!!!
Talk to you all soon!!! Joleen
Hi Joleen, I am glad to hear that you got a good start with the Complete Thai Massage course. Pretty much everyone thinks in the beginning that the delivery rate is too slow, and when they really get into the course, they have a hard time keeping up. There has never been one person so far who said at the end of the course that the delivery had been too slow.
Regarding your well meaning advice to stay inside during the cold - I wish that would work. But the problem here in Thailand is that there is no heat in any house. So if it is cold outside, it is cold inside as well and there is nothing you can do about it aside from bundling up.
I am looking forward to following your progress with all the modules of the course.
Hi Shama! Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm sorry, but I meant that I should stay inside to take my video courses - lol! The only advice I can share with anyone dealing with persistent cold weather (coming from a cold weather climate) is to layer your clothes and keep lot's of blankets handy. Keep your head warm most importantly. Talk to you further in my course journal forum. I am really glad I choose this class. Joleen
