Hello! I am Maiko from Canada.

I am very excited about learning the heavenly head massage. As a young kid, my mother used to massage my head every night before going to bed. I have such a special and fond memories about the head massage 😊

I recently became a certified reflexologist and in the process of becoming a registered reflexologist. I am also Indian head massage and Thai foot reflexology practitioner.

I used to work at spa years ago and was a makeup artist, nail technician, and a bodyworker.

However, I reacted to most of the oil and the products I was using and developed really bad contact dermatitis.

So I had to stop what I was doing.  But I am still very drawn to bodywork!

I truly enjoy the energy and healing work as it makes a huge difference in the lives of others and myself. Both recipients and givers experience healing and sense of well-being.

I love the fact that you can offer Thai massages without the use of oil or lotion. It works really well for me.

I am very excited where my career takes me from now!

Hi Maiko, I am glad you joined our community. It seems that you have found one more reason to get involved with Thai Massage - your skin issues. Yes, you never need to use oil with Thai Massage. The only time I use oil sometimes is when I do long neck massage sessions, and then I use only pure organic Jojoba oil which is excellent for the skin. Did you ever try that one?

Anyway, you won't need oil for any Thai Massage work, so you are good! Smile
