I'm Christi. I live in South Carolina and I have been a massage therapist since 2011, although, I have only practiced about 1 year and a half since then. I got a job in a corporate style spa/clinic right out of school and they really put a bad taste in my mouth for the work we do.
Since then I have move to the upstate of SC and gotten married. My licence and insurance expired so I have recently renewed them both in hopes of starting my own small practice here. From what I've researched in the area, there are not very many of private practice therapists, and none of which do Thai Massage. I have found a couple about 30 mins away though.
Anyway, starting to ramble, I just ordered my Complete Thai Massage Course and am super excited about starting my training. I am looking forward to everything I am going to learn and being able to use it as part of my private practice.
See ya later!
Hi Christi, welcome to our forum. I enjoyed your "ramblings". Keep them coming!
I think this Thai Massage course will give you a much better taste in your mouth about this work. It is holistic, flowing, freeing, better for your own body and fun to practice. Thai Massage has a huge variety of techniques and ways of implementing them which will give you a really inspired, practical and effective repertoire!
