Hi My name is Denise. I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2004. Upon receiving my massage license I started working for the state of Florida doing massage for children and adults with disabilities. I have a daughter with Cerebral Palsy who was not expected to live. She is now 24, is my miracle and my inspiration to the path that my life has taken. I am very excited to use the techniques that I will be learning on my daughter as well as others. My goal is to start my own practice some day. I believe that my background as a Registered nurse, having a bachelors in health and physical education, masters in Exercise physiology, and a nutrition and holistic practitioner certificate will allow me to create a practice that encompasses the mind body and spirit and be able to make a positive impact on all those that I have the pleasure to work with.
Hi Denise, I am really excited that you joined us with this course and in the forum. I love it when people have a clear purpose and obvious healing intentions, and that's coming through in your case loud and clear.
I have worked with quite a few seriously ill people in my career as a therapist, and I know from personal experience that we can help people feel better, get better and heal. There is no limit to what can happen. Of course there are no guarantees either.
I know for a fact that Thai Massage can be a powerful instrument for improving people's issues and conditions and lives. I am looking forward to helping you do the same!

Hi Shama, I would like to get the certification as well as CE's. I checked with CE broker and thai massage healing academy is not listed as a provider. I would like to know if at the end of this program I will still get credit. I know I will have the certification but I would really like to receive the CE as well. How do I know if this will be accepted? Thank you. I am not nationally certified. I have my license for Florida. Thank you. I will wait for your response as well as my first video. I have not received it as of yet.
I spoke with someone at CE Brokers on the phone a few months ago. They told me that I don't have to be listed as a provider as long as I am an authorized NCBTMB CE provider (which I am) and you self report the CE credits to them to make sure they are in the system. The CE hours are valid for the general hours of the renewal requirements.
That's the information they gave me.
You can get both the International certificate and the CE certificate, no problem. However I have not seen your certification registration come through yet. That would be the first step so that you are in our system. The registration link is in the certification section of your course manual.
I know you have some challenges with completing the two registrations. I received the first registration (the registration enrollment) three times, and the test question registration has not materialized yet at all.
I sent you a long email which hopefully clarifies this. You are not the first one who encountered a little technology hurdle in the beginning, but we will get it all sorted out, and from then on it will be easy and smooth sailing!
