hello, I am roland from austria and I just want to give a short introduction.

(don’t worry, I don’t want to bore anybody with pages and pages – just saying hello!)

last week I ordered shamas “thai healing massage course” and I am glad I did so. shama has a very clear way to teach techniques, so that even I understand them (I am not fast in learning something new, you know).

In austria I run a small business with cosmetics and massage (so called “swedish”) and I thought it was time to increase my abilities to be able to serve my clients better than I could do it up to now. I am sure, I found what I was looking for.

In the following weeks I would like to let you take part in my experiences with thai healing massage, and I hope somebody of you might help me if I have questions.

so far, so good, I am glad to get a chance of learning new techniques through an online-course, as I wouldn’t have time to visit a massage-school personally.

regards from vienna to all of you,

roland  Wink

Hi Roland,

I ‘m originally from Germany and used to go skiing in Austria. I live in Chicagoland now with my family. I started the course about 1 month ago and love it! Have fun and good luck on your new adventure! Ursula

Hi Roland, as you might know, I am originally from Germany, although I left the country 35 years ago. I can speak German fluently, but my writing is quite rusty.

I am glad you joined the course, and I am looking forward to observing your progress. You can be sure that all your questions will always be answered!

hi shama, thanks for answering! I wrote you an e-mail, that I would like to get the certification in the end of the course. I also ordered your “heavenly head massage”, as this is not part of the thai healing massage (and I think, it is a very important part of relaxing massage). So far I have no questions, as your videos are self-explaining.

my experiences with the course I will report in the video course forum.

thanx so much for your help!

Hi Roland, I checked and it seems that somehow I did not receive your email about the certification. But no problem – I just enrolled you in the certification program for the Complete Thai Massage course. Do you want to do the certification for the Heavenly Head Massage as well or only Thai Massage?

yes, please, shama! I would like to get a certificate about “heavenly head massage”, too, if possible.

so I just share my experiences and questions in the same forum, or is there a specific one for hhm?

You can use the same forum, but just create a separate topic so that you keep the two courses apart, otherwise it could be quite confusing. Ok, I will register you now in my database for the HHM certificate as well and am looking forward to following your progress.

I am glad that you write perfect English. Sometimes I try to write something in German, but it takes me two or three times as long, and then it doesn’t sound quite right anyway. I used to communicate with my mother via email; she wrote in German and I wrote in English – it worked out fine:)

I think you better stick with English, since otherwise the vast majority of readers cannot understand you. And your English sounds perfect to me. Or we have to set up a special forum for all my German speaking students. There are a few of those. I just have to figure out how to promote my courses in German speaking countries. Laugh
