There is a festival coming up here which is the "Flower Festival", and there are dozens of magnificent floats all decorated with thousands of flowers. I love the still image of the float. I grew up in San Antonio where we had "The Battle of the Flowers" parade and lots of fiestas. The floats were made of thousands of flowers and the dresses the women wore were magical, stunning creations. "King Antonio" (the grand marshal of the parade) would come visit the children at the hospital where my mother worked (Brooke Army Medical Center). She had several pictures of him with the children (and of course there was here smiling face in the photos too!) During Fiesta San Antonio, there were exotic day parades and night parades and river parades.
